Red Carpet Studio Challenge

Hi all!

This is the first post of today, stay tuned for the other one!

This week we have a brand new Card Challenge over at Red Carpet Studio! The week we are inspired by the movie LEPRACHAUN, that means we want to see at least 2 shades of green on your card.

We are sponsored by Clear Dollar Stamps, they are offering $15 gift certificate for their shop. Just click on the banner below to go to their shop.

This is what I created.
Totally different from what I usually make, right? I made a bit of a mess by making my own background!
I used some Versamark ink and 3 different butterfly stamps. I embossed them with clear embossingpowder, and let the mess begin!
I used 4 different Distress Inks, Peeled Paint, Shabby Shutters, Vintage Photo and Walnut Stain. There are my first 2 shades of green, Peeled Paint and Shabby Shutters.
After inking I used a paper towel to wipe my embossed image clean, so they look even whiter!
I used my Tim Holtz Butterfly border die, and inked it with Distress Ink Walnut Stain. That is my third shade of green.
I used another Tim Holtz Butterfly die and a stamp that goes with the butterfly stamps. I also inked the edges of the white panel.
To finish my card, I used some Lime Green Stickles around the edges of my layers, and voila, the fourth shade of green!

That was it for today, I hope you all like it!

Please pop over to Red Carpet Studio and join us!

Hugs, Sandra
