Love to Create - Summer Lovin'

Hi all!

It is already monday again, doesn't time fly by? We have a brand new challenge for you at Love to Create, and perfect for this time of the year! QKR Stampede also generously provided some images to the DT to work with, and this is what I created.

I saw this paper in a Fancy Pants paper pad, and I knew I had to use it for this card! I only added 2 gold fish brads, and that was it!

The image I used is called Making Bubbles, and can be found here. I used my Copic Markers again to color the image, and I used the following.
Elephant: C00, C0, C2, C5
Tongue: R20
Tusks: E40, E41, E43
Bandage: YR04, YR07
Water: B000, B00, B02
To finish off the water I added some Diamond Stickles to it.
The sentiment I used is from a set by Amy R and was perfect for this card!

Fab 'n' Funky Challenge - Shaped Cards

Hi all!

This week was my turn to host the challenge at Fab 'n' Funky so I decided our theme is going to be Shaped Cards. This is actually my favorite theme! QKR Stampede also generously offered some images to the DT to play with, and this is what I created.

 To create the shape of my card, I used a template from Dutch Doobadoo. Just trace and cut, and you have a lovely shaped card! The paper I used is from a sample from Craft Emotions, I received it in a goodiebag at Tiets' clubday.

Stork: W00, W0, W2, W5, W7
Beak and legs: YR23, YR27

The onesie is made with a die from Memory Box, and is my absolute favorite on baby cards! I just can't stop using it!

Just to say hello - QKR GDT

Hi all!!

This is the last friday of this month, which also means the last challenge as a Guest Designer for QKR Stampede. I am happy I was part of  the team, and a little sad to leave! Thanks again girls, for having me as your Guest Designer!

This weeks theme is Animal Antics, and here is my card.

This cute moose is just chillin', waiting for a lovely girly moose to stop by or so! LOL, I can see this whole thing happening!

This moose guy is colored with my Copic Markers and I used the following.
Moose fur: E71, E74, E77, E79
Antlers and hooves: W1, W3, W5
Grass: YG11, YG63, YG67, G99 and a green fineliner
Sky: Distress Ink Tumbled Glass and a cloud die by MFT Dienamics.

The sentiment is by Noor!Design, stamped with Memento Tuxedo black Ink and cut out with a circle Nestabilities die. I punched a line of holes with my Stampin Up mat pack.

The ribbon I used is from my stash, and I tied it in a bow.

The grass border is made with a MFT DieNamics die. The leaves are made with a Noor!Design die, and the flowers are from my stash.

Happy Easter - QKR Stampede GDT

Hi all!

How are you all doing? We are still waiting for spring in Holland, we need sun! Anyway, This month I am the Guest Designer at QKR Stampede, and this weeks theme is Easter.
This is what I created.

I kept this card pretty simple, which is a bit strange for me, but I thought it looked good this way.
Here is a close-up of my colored image.

This cute Easterbunnt is colored with my Copic Markers, and I used the following.
Bunny: E33, E35
Ears: YG03, YG06
Paper: Y000, Y00, Y02
Flowers: R27, R29, Y02

The papers I used are in my stash for AGES, probably more than 5 years, but they are easter themed, so why not?
The lace is from my stash and so is the red ribbon.

The flowers I used are by Prima Marketing, and I curled the stams with my tweezers.

Spring at QKR Stampede

Hi all!

This is my Guest Designer post for QKR Stampede!

This week we want to see some SPRING themed cards, and this is what I made.

I made a rectangle card, standard size. The image is generously sponsored by QKR Stampede, and can be found here.
Here is a close-up of my colored image.

The image is colored with my Copic Markers and I used the following markers.
Yellows: Y06, Y08
Purples: V15, V17
Pinks: RV10, RV13
Potting soil: E33, E35

The sentiment is handwritten on some purple cardstock and cut out as a banner.
The papers I used are in my stash for ages, so I have no idea which brand they are. I finished the egde of my cardfront with a festonstitch, I like how it turned out!
The pearls I used are also from my stash.

Wish we could have some hang time

Hi all!

This is my second post as a Guest Designer for QKR Stampede, and this weeks challenge is USE GREEN. And I did, a TON!! Green is not a color I use very often, but this image shouted green!!

If this isn't green, nothing will ever be green I guess, LOL!!

Anyway, the image I used is also by QKR Stampede, and is called Wrapped Up. This image can be found here.

This cool snakedude is colored with my Copic Markers, and I used the following.
Snake: G94, G99.
Branch: E25, E27, E29
Leafs: YG03, YG06
The image is cut out with my Nestabilities Labels 4 die.

The papers I used are by Authentique, and I only used some scraps for this card. I cut 5 strips about 1inch wide, and that is all. The ribbon I used is from my stash, and so are the brads under the snake.

The sentiment seemed rather fitting for this image, it is from MFT Pure Innocence. I stamped it with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on the same creamcolored cardstock as my base, and made a little banner of it.

Guest Designer at QKR Stampede!

Hi all!

This is my second post for today, 2 more to follow. Please make sure to read them all.

I am so honoured! I am chosen to be this months Guest Designer at QKR Stampede, thanks so much for having me! This weeks theme at QKR Stampede is "3 of something", which I love!
This is what I created.

I made a 13,5cm square card, using an image by QKR, called sick as a dog, and can be found here. Here is a close-up of my colored image.

He is colored with my Copic Markers and I used the following.
Dog: E57, E59, R22
Bedframe: C5, C7
Sheets: W00, W0, W2, W5
Plaster: C00, C0, C1, C3

The sentiment is by NoorDesign, and it says: Get well soon! It is stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, and cut out with my scissors.

Here are my 3 of somethings! I used 3 glittery brads, and 3 flowers by Wild Orchid Crafts.
The papers I used are by Bo Bunny, and all edges are inked with Distress Ink Walnut Stain. I also used a white gelpen do to some faux stitching.
