Bugaboo also generously provided some images to the DT to work with, and this is what I created.

The papers I used for this card are by Echo Park. All edges are inked with Distress Ink Walnut Stain. The brown ribbon is from my stash. The 2 big brads are by Basic Grey.
The image I used is called Autumn Blessing, and can be found here. I used coloring pencils to color the image, as I like the soft look from it. No fancy blending or whatsoever :)

Because you can't have enough birthday cards on hand, right? LOL! The papers I used are by My Minds Eye, and the pink one with the doilies reminded me of those doilys underneath some pie, so I thought it was perfect for this card! All edges are inked with Distress Ink Vintage Photo.
The image I used is called Girl Cupcake Tray, and can be found here. I used my Copic Markers to color the image, and I used the following.
Skin: E00, E11, E13
Hair: E23, E25, E27, E29
Cupcake wraps: W00, W1
Frosting: Y15, Y35, Y38, R81, R83, R85.

Fab 'n' Funky Challenge - Christmas

Hi all!

Welcome to a new challenge at Fab 'n' Funky! This is the last week of the month, so that means this weeks theme is CHRISTMAS!
We have an amazing sponsor this week, Bugaboo. Bugaboo is offering 7 images of the winners choice! Just click on the banner below to go to the shop.

Bugaboo generously provided some images to the DT to work with and this is what I created.

The choice of my papers is inspired by the image I used, do you see the little penguins on the paper? Aren't they adorable? The papers I used are by Jillibean Soup, and I only used some scraps for this card.
I used some regular pencils to color in the image. The image is called Winter Penguin Trio, and is available for purchase here.
I found the sentiment somewhere in my Christmas boxes, so I have no idea where it's from. Actually I didn't even know I had this stamp! The red ribbon is from my stash.

That was it for today, please visit Fab 'n' Funky and join us with your Christmas projects!

Hi all!

Welcome to a new Robyn's Fetish Challenge! This weeks theme is a real challenge for me! This weeks theme is NO PATTERN PAPER, CARDSTOCK ONLY. Using an embossingfolder is allowed!
Well, knowing me, this is hard for me! I always use a great amount of pattern paper, and I probably have a life time supply.
We also have a great sponsor this week, Bugaboo is offering 7 digi's of the winners choice. Just click on the banner below to go to their shop!

Bugaboo also generously offered some images to the DT to work with, and this is what I created with it!

I made a 4 inch square card from blue cardstock. I used some white card stock on top, and I used a snowflake embossing folder to create some texture.
The image I used is called Snowglobe Sunbonnet Skate and can be found here. I used my Copic Markers to color the image and I used the following colors.
E31, E33, E35, E37, R24, R27, B000, B01, BG0000.
I added some tulle from my stash behind the snowglobe, and some rhinestones to the falling snow.

Digi Haven DT - Baby, it's cold outside!

Hi all!

Welcome to the first Digi Haven Challenge of 2014! Where I live, the weather is really soft, almost like spring, but I understand the US is freezing! That is why this fortnight's theme is perfect!
Our theme is BABY, IT'S COLD OUTSIDE!
We also have a fabulous sponsor for this challenge, Bugaboo! Bugaboo is offering 7 images of the winner's choice, isn't that generous! Just click on the banner below to go to their shop!

Bugaboo also generously provided some images to the DT to wirk with, and this is what I created.
I made a big rectangle card, measuring 4.5 x 6 inches. The papers I used are by PaperMania, and were in my stash for ages. They are 12x12 and I rarely use those. I really like them, so I have to use them more often! Let me show you a close-up of the colored image.
Like I said, the image is by Bugaboo and is called Marshamellow Snowmen. You can buy the image here.
The image is colored with my Copic Markers and I used the following markers.
E33, E35, E37, B000, B01, RV21, RV23 and BG0000
I added some Frosty Lace Stickles to the snow and I added some Glossy Accents on the highlite of the snowglobe.
The sentiment I used is by AmyR, and I think it fits our theme perfectly! I used Versafine Onyx Black ink to stamp it. The edges of the papers I used are inked with Distress Ink Vintage Photo.
I used some pink ribbon from my stash and tied it in a bow. I added a snowflake charm to finish it, and I also used some selfadhesive pearls from my stash.

That was it for today, I hope you like it. Now pop over to Digi Haven and join us!

Digi Haven - Christmas!

Hi all!

Welcome to a new challenge at Digi Haven!
Holiday season is approaching quickly, did you already set up your tree? I haven't yet, but that will happen when hubby gets home! He has to carry everything downstairs as it is too heavy for me to carry with the big belly! This fortnight's challenge theme is CHRISTMAS and did I already mention we have an amazing sponsor for this one?

Bugaboo is offering a $21 gift certificate for the randomly chosen winner, so you'd better be joining us! Just click on the banner below to go to their shop!

Bugaboo also generously offered some images to the DT to work with and this is what I created.
I really love these snowmen peeking through the window, and I HAD to make a windowcard with it.
Not sure if it shows up in the pics, but my I did some clear heat embossing on the front, that is why it is a bit warped. I didn't use any dessin paper at all, which is really rare for me! Usually I use lots of it, but I actually quite like the result.
The image is called Snow Friends Window and as said before it is generously sponsored by Bugaboo. You can find the image here. I used my trusted Copic Markers to color the image, and I used the following.
Snow: BG0000, BG000, BG10
Greens: G43, G46
Reds: R24. R27, R29
Blacks: C3, C5, C7
Orange: YR68
Window frame: E71, E74, E77, E79
I also used some Icicle Stickles on the background

The sentiment I used is by AmyR and is stamped with Stampin Ups Cherry Cobbler ink. To finish my card I used some red/white twine and a snowflake charm.

That was it for today, I hope you like my card. Now hop over to Digi Haven and join us!

Growing old - Aud Sentiments Midway Reminder

Hi all!

Welcome to all of my new followers, thanks for signing up!
Today I want to share my Aud Sentiments project with you all, since we are already halfway in this challenge! The theme for this challenge is FOR A GUY, so anything masculine goes, as long as it has a sentiment on the front.

For this challenge we are sponsored by the lovely Bugaboo, and they are offering 7(!) digi's of the winners choice. Just click on the banner below to go to their shop!

Jodie from Bugaboo also generously provided some of her images to the DT, and this is what I created.
I don't know how about you, but I always have a hard time making masculine cards. For some reason I love flowers and ribbon and pearls and lace and so on... So I had a hard time on this challenge, but I actually like how this turned out!
I made a stairstep card, and I used an image by Bugaboo. Let's take a closer look at the image, shall we?
The image is called Gus - Optional and can be found here. Gus is a grumpy old man with a great sense of humor, that is why I like this image! He is colored with my Copic Markers, and I used the following.
Skin: E00, E11
Hair: C5, C7
Shirt: R29, R59
Shorts: B02, B05
Cart: YG03, YG06
I also used some Glossy Accents on his glasses.
This is the middle part of my cart, the stepping part. I used two dies by Marianne Design for the fence and the birdhouse. The embossed parts are inked with Distress Ink Walnut Stain, as well are the edges of my papers. The paper I used is by Basic Grey, Oxford collection. The little flag banner is made with a die by Joy!Crafts and different pieces of patterned paper.
This is the right part of my card, and the sentiment came with the image. I can actually imagine Gus saying this, LOL!! I used my Nestabilities Labels Four to cut it out.
That was it for today, I hope you all like it!
Now pop over to Aud Sentiments and join us with your masculine cards!

Hugs, Sandra
