Hi all!

I have an extra post on the Art by Mi Ran blog today, because I just can't get enough of her beautiful stamps!

The papers I used for this card are from Carta Bella, So this is Christmas collection. All edges are inked with Distress Ink Walnut Stain.

The image I used is a new released rubber stamp by Whimsy. She is called Fairly Noelle, and she can be found here. I used my Copic Markers again to color her, and I used the following.
Skin: E000, E00, E21, E11, E13
Hair: E23, E25, E27
Dress: R24, R46, R59
Fur: W00, W1, W3
Wings: G40, G43, G46
Snowflakes: B0000, BG0000
I used one of my nesting dies to cut her out.

To finish off my card, I used some lace from Kimya, added some bakers twine, and tied a snowflake charm to her. I added some red ribbon from my stash, and last but not least I added two little bouquets made from Wild Orchid Crafts flowers.

This was it for today, I hope you like her!

CreaMiep - Bedankt...

Hoi allemaal!

Liefs, Sandra

December Greetings

Hi all!

Another quick and easy Christmas card to share with you all! The recipe is exactly the same as yesterday, except for the sentiment I added. A Studio Light Winter Memories die cut block, some Distress Ink Walnut Stain, that is it!

I stamped the sentiment on one of the existing banners. The stamp is from Noor Design, and I used Versafine Onyx Black ink to stamp it.

This was it for today, I hope you like it!

The East Wind Challenge - Halloween

Hi all!

Welcome to a brand new challenge at The East Wind! The challenge theme for this one is Halloween, perfect for the time of the year!

Here's my project

To create the shape of the card I used a template from Dutch Doobadoo. I started with black cardstock, and layered a piece of white on top. On top of that I used some green designer paper and finished with a piece of purple designer paper. I used Basic Grey's Eerie collection. All edges are inked with Distress Ink Black Soot.

The image I used is called Lucy Loo Spellbound, and I figured her reading a recipe for a potion. I used my Copic Markers to color her, and I used the following.

Skin: E000, E00, E21, E11, E13
Hair: YR20, YR24, YR27
Dress: V12, V15, V17, YG93, YG95, YG97
Book: E55, E57

The sentiment is cut with my Silhouette Cameo. To finish off my card I used some Wild Orchid Crafts flowers.

This was it, i hope you will celebrate with us on Facebook!

Art by Mi Ran - Flower Flourish

Hi all!

It is my turn again to share on the Art by Mi Ran blog today, and I also shared the winner of my Birthday giveaway in the post, so make sure to check, because it could be YOU!

On to my card!

I have been playing with my Silhouette Cameo again, and I found the template for this card in the shop. I really liked it, so I decided to use it! The design paper for my card is from a paper pad from a cheap Dutch store, called Action. I inked all the edges with Distress Ink Walnut Stain.

And a side view of my card. This card was a gift to my hubby's niece, who lives in France. She came to visit the Netherlands yesterday, and her family organised a surprise party, because it was also her birthday.

The image I used is called Flower Flourish, and I used my Copic Markers again to color her. I used the following.
Skin: E000. E00,E21. E11, E13
Hair: E71, E74, E77, E79
Dress: G21, G82, G85
Flowers: R81, R83, R85, R89
Pearls: RV0000, RV000

The flowers I used are all by Wild Orchid Crafts, aren't they gorgeous?

The sentiment I used is from Whimsy Stamps, and I used a Nestabilities die to cut it out. I added a white scalloped circle to make it pop.

This was it for today, I hope you like it!

Happy Holidays!

Hi all!

Just wanted to share another card with the same technique from yesterday!

For this card I used the same Darkroom Door background stamp, only with different colors. I used Copic Marker G43, G46, R46, R59. Sprayed some Activator on it, and pressed it on to my paper.

The star stamp is from Craft Emotions, and is stamped with Versamagic Tea Leaves ink.

The snowflakes are from a set from Noor Design, and they are stamped with Stampin' Up Whisper White ink.

The sentiment is from the same Noor Design stamp set, and is stamped with Stazon black ink. The red ribbon, and the green rhinestones are from my stash, and they finish off my card perfectly.

This was it for today, I hope you like it!

Take care!

Hi all!!

I recently visited a craft fair, and saw a demo about a new-to-me technique, and I thought I'd give it a try, so I am sharing my card with you all!

The background stamp is from Darkroom Door, and I colored each block with a Copic Marker. I used RV63, RV66 and RV69. After coloring I sprayed some Copic Activator on it, and pressed it on my paper. This gives you the colored background. I think this is a lovely technique for some quick clean and simple cards!

I stamped a tree, some flowers and a sentiment with different stamps from my stash. I used Stazon ink for it. To finish off my card, I used some pearls and added some twine.

This was it for today, I hope you like it, eventhough it is not my normal style!

Good luck in your new home!

Hi all!!

One of my hubby's coworkers has recently moved into his new house, so I made him a card! This whole card was inspired from a card I saw on Pinterest, and guess what, I didn't pin it, so I can't give credit... I am so sorry, but I want to thank the woman who made it for the idea <3 p="">

This isn't actually a card, but it is an envelope, made with a template from Dutch Doobadoo. I used some kraft cardstok to create the envelope. The papers I used are all leftover scraps from a paperpad from Authentique.

The image I used is from Dr. Digi, he is called Dunderton Decorators Ltd. Perfect for this card! I used my Copic Markers to color him, and I used the following markers.
Skin: E000, E00, E21, E11, E13
Shirt, moustache, paint can and paint roller: C00, C0, C2, C5
Dungarees: YG91, YG93, YG95, YG97
Paint: V12, V15, V17
Shoes: E23, E25, E27
I also used Glossy Accents on his glasses, but that is kind of hard to see on this pic.

I also used the Paint can and Paint roller images from Dr Digi, and they are colored in the same colors as the main image.
The sentiment I used is from a set from Nicole Verkooijen, and says Good luck on your new home.

This is the insert for the envelope. I used the green paper as a belly band, and I inserted a gift card as a present.

This was it for today, I hope you like it!

The East Wind Challenge - Add texture

Hi all!!

It is already Oct 1st, so that means it is time for a brand new challenge at The East Wind! Our theme for this challenge is Add Texture, so there are plenty of opportunities.
Here is the sample that I created

When I saw this image, I immediately thought of Halloween, but I live in Holland, we don't celebrate Halloween. I don't have much crafty stuff for Halloween, but I found something! The papers I used are from Basic Grey, Eerie collection. All edges are inked with Distress Ink Black soot.

The image I used is this months newsletter Freebie, isn't this gorgeous? I used my Copic Markers again to color it up, and I used the following.
Dragon: G21, G82, G85, E08, E09
Bottle: YR0000, YR000
Liquid: V12, V15, V17

The sentiment is stamped with Stampin' Up Whisper White ink, and heat embossed with white embossing powder, to create some texture.

I also added some ribbon for texture. To finish off my card I used a sticker from the sticker sheet from the paper collection.

This was it for today, I hope you like it, Please pop over to The East Wind, and join us!

Hugs, Sandra
