Fab 'n' Funky Challenge - Shaped Cards

Hi all!

This week was my turn to host the challenge at Fab 'n' Funky so I decided our theme is going to be Shaped Cards. This is actually my favorite theme! QKR Stampede also generously offered some images to the DT to play with, and this is what I created.

 To create the shape of my card, I used a template from Dutch Doobadoo. Just trace and cut, and you have a lovely shaped card! The paper I used is from a sample from Craft Emotions, I received it in a goodiebag at Tiets' clubday.

The onesie is made with a die from Memory Box, and is my absolute favorite on baby cards! I just can't stop using it!

Fab 'n' Funky Challenge - Recipe

Hi all!

Welcome to a brand new challenge at Fab 'n' Funky! This fortnight we are having a recipe challenge, and this is our recipe: 3 designer papers, ribbon and pearls or rhinestones.

Here's my creation for this challenge.

 The papers I used are by My Minds Eye, Be Happy collection

 The image I used, is one I colored long time ago, so I don't have all Copic Marker numbers. The image is by Saturated Canary, and used to be a freebie. Now she is available for purchase here.
Skin: E000, E00, E11, E21 and R20 for blush.
Hair: ????
Clothes: W1, W3, W5, W7, R20, R22, R24
Box: E55, E57

Bothe large brown flowers are handmade with an MFT-die. The other flowers are by Wild Orchid Crafts.
The ribbon is a gift from a friend, but matches perfectly with the papers and the image. The heart shaped rhinestones are from my stash, and so are the tiny earring ones.

Fab 'n' Funky Challenge - Pretty Hair

Hi all!

Time for a new challenge at Fab 'n' Funky, and this one is perfect for me! This weeks theme is Pretty Hair, and I absolutely love coloring hair!
Our sponsor this week is Lacy Sunshine. Due to personal issues I didn't use a sponsor image.

This is what I created.

To create the shape of this card, I used a Dutch Doobadoo template. Just trace and cut, and you're ready to go!

The image I used is by Wee Stamps and this beautiful girl is called Iris. She is available both as digital image and rubber stamp, and I used the rubber stamp.I used my Copic Markers to color her, and I decided to challenge myself a bit more to make her hair purple. I used the following markers.
Skin: E000, E00, E11, E13 and R20 for blush.
Hair: V01, V04, V06, V09
Outfit and wings: YG91, YG93, YG95, RV91, RV933, RV95

The papers I used are by Authentique, I just love the green/purple combo! The 2 big flowers were handmade using mulberry paper and Noor!Design flower dies. I used Distress Ink Dusty Concord with a bit of water to color and form them. To finish off the flower I used some Diamond Stickles and used a glittery brad as the centre. The rest of the flowers are by Wild Orchid Crafts.
In the middle of my card i used a piece of purple ribbon from my stash.

Fab 'n' Funky Challenge - Paper Piecing

Hi all!

Time for a new challenge at Fab 'n' Funky! This week we want to see some PAPER PIECING!

The papers I used to create this card are by BoBunny, and all edges are inked with Distress Ink Vintage Photo.

The image I used is called Daphne, and she can be found here. I used my Copic Markers to color the image, however I paper pieced the dress and hairband. I did add some shading to the paper pieced parts, with my W2 Copic Marker.
Skin: E00, E21, E13 and R20 for blush.
Hair: E23, E25, E27, E29
Scarf: RV10, RV13, RV14
Shoes: BG01, BG05, BG07
The sentiment I used is by Noor!Design and says Happy Birthday. I used some Versamark Onyx Black ink to stamp it.

I used some pink ribbon that a friend gave me, and I attached a charm to the bow with some green twine. To create the scalloped border, I used a Fiskars Threading Water border punch.

The flowers I used are by Wild Orchid Crafts, I am soooooooo in love with their flowers! I can't stop using them (and I can't stop buying them either, don't tell hubby please!)

I made a notebook, and pink it is! I took a notepad that was on my desk, and measured it. Then I made a little cover for it, and the base was finished. The papers I used are by K&Company. I have had them in my stash for ages, but they are really lovely! I should use them more often!

Fab 'n' Funky Challenge - Christmas

Hi all!

Welcome to a new challenge at Fab 'n' Funky! This is the last week of the month, so that means this weeks theme is CHRISTMAS!

The choice of my papers is inspired by the image I used, do you see the little penguins on the paper? Aren't they adorable? The papers I used are by Jillibean Soup, and I only used some scraps for this card.

I used some regular pencils to color in the image. The image is called Winter Penguin Trio, and is available for purchase here.

I found the sentiment somewhere in my Christmas boxes, so I have no idea where it's from. Actually I didn't even know I had this stamp! The red ribbon is from my stash.

Fab 'n' Funky Challenge - Christmas

Hi all!

Time for a new challenge at Fab 'n' Funky! It's the last challenge of the month, which is always a Christmas Card challenge! So easy, we want to see your christmas cards!

This is what I created for this challenge. I didn't use a sponsor's image due to personal issues.

The image I used is by Wee Stamps. She is called Holly and can be found here. I used my Copic Markers to color the image, and I used the following markers.

Skin: E000, E00, E21, E13

Hair: E53, E55, E57

Coat: R22, R24, R27, R29 and a white gelpen to add the polkadots.

Scarf: W00, W0, W2, W5

Cat: E55, E57

Hollies and berries: G40, G43, G46, R56, R59 

Shading: C00, C1, C3

The papers I used are by BoBunny, Father Christmas collection, and so are the brads I used. The flowers are by Prima Marketing. They are in my stash for ages, but I love the polkadots on them. That is what inspired me to make polkadots on her coat too. 

The sentiment I used is by AmyR, stamped with Versafine Onyx Black ink on kraft card stock.

Fab 'n' Funky Challenge - Valentine/Love

Hi all!

It's that time again, Valentine's Day is coming up! I know it's a big day all around the world, but in the Netherlands they just don't seem to get it. Hardly anybody celebrates Valentine's Day... So much for a romantic day with hubby...

I made a little tunnelcard. The papers I used are by Pink Paislee. The pink lace is from my stash, and so is the doily. The sentiment is from the All about love set from AmyR. I just LOVE her sentiment sets!
