Art by Mi Ran - Happy Birthday

Hi all!

Hope you all had a fabulous Christmas with those you love! I spent Christmas with my hubby and daughter and we visited my parents, so it was really lovely.

Today is my turn to host the Art by Mi Ran Showcase blog, and after all the Christmas and Winter themed card I thought it's time to go bright and colorful!

I made a pretty big card this time! Usually my cards are 5,5 inch square, but since I was desperate to use the Dutch Doobadoo Polaroid frame, I made a 6 inch square card.
The papers I used are by Authentique. All edges of the papers are inked with Distress Ink Walnut Stain.

The image I used is called Tulipa, and I absolutely love her! I used my Copic Markers again to color the image, and I used the following markers:
Skin: E0000, E000, E00, E11, E13 and E93 and E95 for the blush and lips.
Hair and tulips: V000, V12, V15, V17
Clothes and background flowers: BV31, BV34
Eyes, leaf and stems: YG93, YG95, YG97
The green pearls in the background are made with a kiwi colored pearl maker pen.

The bow is made with some lace from my stash, and I added a big gem from Wild Orchid Crafts to the center.

The sentiment is in Dutch, and says Congratulations. It was a gold peel off sticker, but I used a blac Sharpie pen to color it black.

All flowers are by Wild Orchid Crafts, except from the purple felt ones. I made them myself with a Marianne design die and some purple felt.

This was it for today, I hope you like it! Thanks so much for stopping by, and I would love you to leave a comment :)

Copic Marker Benelux - Happy Birthday!

Hallo allemaal,

Liefs,

Sandra

The Stamping Chef - Anything Goes

Hi all!!

It is time for a brand new challenge at The Stamping Chef! As always our theme is Anything Goes, and I have a very special project to share with you all!!
Last Monday was my daughter's FIRST birthday! The image I used to make her invitations, is drawn by Tamara, and she designed it especially for my daughter! I am so proud about it, and that is why I wanted to share this with you all!

The papers I used to create my card are by Basic Grey, Olivia collection. I am also planning on making a mini album from the birthday party, and I will use the same paper collection for it.

The image is called Happy Birthday Tess. She isn't available at the shop, because she is especially designed for me, but there are tons and tons of other lovely images for sale at The Stamping Chef.
I used my Copic Markers again to color her, and I used the following.
Skin: E000, E00, E11, E13, and  E93 for blush
Hair: E51, E53, E55
Eyes: YG95, YG97
Shirt: RV21, RV23, RV25, RV29
Dress: B91, B93, B95, B97, B99
I used my circle and scalloped circle Nestabilities die to cut out the image.

The balloon is made with a die from Marianne Design, and I punched a 1 with an old number punch.

The gifts are made with dies from Noor Design, and I used Distress Ink VIntage Photo to ink the embossed parts.

The inside is stamped with a set from Noor Design, and is perfect to make invitations with.

This was it for today, I hope you like it. Please pop over to The Stamping Chef and join us, ANYTHING GOES!!!

Art by Mi Ran - Snowy Dreams

Hi all!!!

Today is my turn to host the showcase blog at Art by Mi Ran, and I wanted to share the card I made with Snowy Dreams.

The card is pretty Clean and Simple for me, no fancy flowers et cetera, just a lot of coloring and some punching and die-cutting! The paper I used for my background is from SEI, Krissy Kringle collection.

There was a lot of coloring involved, and I printed out the image pretty large! It measures 5.5 inches, it barely fitted on my card. The image is called Snowy Dreams, and she can be found here.
I used the following Copic Markers:
Skin: E000, E00, E11, E13, and E93 for the cheeks
Hair: E13, E08, E09, E18
Sweater: R35, R46, R59
Eyes: YG93, YG95, YG97
Background inside: YR30, YR31
Window: C00, C1
Bricks: E23, E25, E27
Snow: BG0000, BG10

The tree is made with a die from Marianne Design, and I added some Dutch Doobadoo structure paste on it, to create some snow

To finish off my card, I punched some snowflakes with my Martha Stewart punch, and added a rhinestone in the center of each snowflake.

This was it for today, I hope you all like it!

Sami Stamps also generously provided some images to the DT to work with, and this is what I created.

I created a Christmas tree, using a template from Dutch Doobadoo. The green patterned paper is from Papermania.

Both ornaments are from Sami Stamps, they can be found here. I used my Copics G43 and G46 on the green one, and R35, R46 and R59 on the red one.
The star on top of the three is from Craft emotions, stamped with Stampin Ups Cherry Cobbler ink.

This was it for today, I hope you all like it. Please pop over to Love to Create and join us!

Art by Mi Ran - Uptown Girl Casandra

Hi all!!

Here I am again with another Art by Mi Ran project for you! Yesterdays post was an extra one, and today is my regular post. Hope you don't mind! :)

I decided to make another easel card. I love these cards, but I don't make them very often. The papers I used are from Prima Marketing. The colors are not quite my style, as mine is bright and cheerful, but I still like the papers.
The image I used is called Uptown Girl Casandra, and she was released yesterday! You can find the image here. I used my Copic Markers again to color her, and I used the following.
Skin: E000, E00, E11, E13 and E93 for blush
Hair: E81, E84, E87, E89
Coat and boots: BG90, BG93. BG96, BG99
Scarf and skirt: RV91, RV93, RV95, RV99

The large green flowers were sent to me by a Dutch scrapbooking company, called Pimp-a-Pumpkin. They make these flowers themselves, and I absolutely adore them! They come in various sizes in a package, and even the biggest one, on the top picture, works perfect on a card! The other flowers I used are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Hugs, Sandra
