Art by Mi Ran - Morning Glory

Hi all!!

Here's a brand new inspirational post for Art by Mi Ran! Today I am sharing the fabulous Morning Glory, she is just beautiful! As soon as I saw this image, I knew I had to color her, and here she is!

 The papers I used for my card, are from a budget store called Action, and I absolutely love these papers! I didn't ink them, I just matted with purple cardstock.

 The image I used is called Morning Glory, and I used my beloved Copic Markers to color her.

Skin: E0000, E000, E00, E21, E11, E13, R20

Hair: E23, E25, E27, E29

Leaves: YG61, YG63, YG67

Flowers: V12, V15, V17

Dress: RV23, RV25, RV29

Butterfly: RV23, RV25, RV29, Y32, Y35, E74, E77

 I used several paper flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts. The butterflies are from Scrapberry's.

I used a sentiment that says Lots of love, Big hug. It is from Noor Design. To finish off my card, I added several pearls with a pearlmaker pen..

Art by Mi Ran - July Progressive Challenge

Hi all!

Yesterday evening we started our new progressive challenge at the Art by Mi Ran Facebook group, so I am sharing here as well!

 To create the shape of my card, I used a template from Dutch Doobadoo. I used some kraft paper as my base, added a layer of purple cardstock, some yellow designerpaper from DCWV and another purple ald yellow layer. None of the edges are inked, quite a shock huh?

 PLease check out our FB group to check on how to get this cute girl called Vannessa the Teacher. I used my Copic Markers to color her.

Skin: E000, E00, E21, E11, E13

Hair: Y21, YR23, E33, E35

Eyes: E33, E35

Purples: V12, V15, V17

Yellows: Y32, Y35, Y38

White: W00, W0, W2, W5

To finish off my card, I added a lasercut doily between my pages. On top of that I added several Wild Orchid Crafts flowers. The sentiment I used is from Noor!Design, and says Hip Hip Hooray! I used my MISTI to stamp it in the right place.

CreaMiep - Het is Kerst!

Hoi allemaal!

Het is kerst! Uhm, nou qua weer bijna dan he? 

Ik hoop toch nog echt wel even op de zomer, maar voor nu heb ik even een kerstkaart voor CreaMiep om te laten zien!

 Het papier dat ik heb gebruikt is van Crafts&You. Ik heb gemat op kraft papier van Joy. Alle randjes zijn met Distress Ink Walnut Stain bewerkt.

 Ik heb deze mooie stempel van Art by Mi Ran gebruikt, ze heet Reindeer Eve. Ik heb haar met mijn MISTI op DCP papier gestempeld, met Memento Tuxedo Black ink. Daarna heb ik haar met Promarkers en Flexmarkers ingekleurd.

De tekststempel die ik heb gebruikt, komt uit de najaarsset van CreaMiep

 Ik heb verschillende bloemetjes gebruikt. De rode bloemen zijn bewerkt met de rode Wink of Stella pen, en de witte bloemen met de witte Wink of Stella pen.

De kerstbomen rand is van Memory Box en is gekleurd met de donkergroene Wink of Stella pen.

Dit was het voor vandaag. Ik hoop dat jullie het leuk vinden!

Art by Mi Ran - Farren

Hi all!

Today I am sharing an extra post over at Art by Mi Ran, so I will share all the details here as well!

 I decorated the lid of a hard kraft box from Kimya. I used My Minds Eye papers for it, and inked all the edges with Distress Ink Walnut Stain.

 The image I used is called Farren, isn't she just beautiful? I used the following Copic Markers.

Hair: Y20, YR23, E33, E35

Dress: BG53, BG57, BG49

Pants: Y32, Y35, Y38

Bag: W5, W7

Fence, eyes: Y35, Y37

The flowers I used for my card are from Wild Orchids crafts. I added some pieces of cord to it.

The sentiment is a sticker, and says Happy Birthday in Dutch. The lace, pleated ribbon, and the escpecially for you trim are all from Kimya, and so is the sentiment sticker.

Hi all!

Today I am hosting the Art by Mi Ran blog, so I will be sharing here as well!

 To create the shape of the card, I used a template from Dutch Doobadoo. I traced it on black cardstock, and cut it out. The paper I used is from Marion Smith, isn't this just the prettiest? I inked all edges with Distress Ink Black Soot. 

 The image I used is called Danica, and I used the following Copic Markers to color her.

Skin: E000, E00, E21, E11, E13

Hair: C5, C7, 100

Dress: R81, R83, R85, R89

Stars: Y32, Y35, Y38

Eyes: YG93, YG95

 I used a piece of cheesecloth behind my image, and some pink lace from Kimya.

 The sentiment is a sticker from Kimya as well.

All the flowers I used are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Hi all!!

Here I am again with a new card for Art by Mi Ran! I decided to use one of the just released images, because they are so adorable!!

 The papers I used for this card are from American Crafts, and I used Distress Ink Vintage Photo to ink all the edges.

 The stamp I used is called Fayette Fina, and isn't she just pretty? I used my Copic Markers to color her, and I used the following. 

Skin: E000, E00, E21, E11, E13

Hair: G40, G43, G46

Dress: R20, R22, R24

Flowers, wings: BG0000, BG000, BG10, BG11, BG13

Basket, Eyes: E74, E77, E79

The mint green ribbon is from my stash, but matches the paper almost perfectly.

 The flowers I used are from Prima Marketing, combined with the smaller flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Art by Mi Ran - June Progressive Challenge

Hi all!

How are you today? I hope you are all well! I am feeling very well, because the new Progressive Challenge at the Art by Mi Ran Facebook group has just started! 

Here's what I created for this challenge.

 I just love the summer feel of this image, so I decided to add some summer papers. They are by Echo Park, Paradise Beach collection. I inked all the edges with Distress Ink Walnut Stain.

 This is the progressive image for the month of June. She is called Sunshine Suzie. Please check out the Art by Mi Ran Facebook group how to get this image.

I used my Copic Markers to color her.

Skin: E000, E00, E21, E11, E13

Hair: BG53, BG57, BG49

Dress: R22, R24, R27

Hat: Y32, Y35, Y38

The scallop is cut with a Nestabilities Label One die.

The red ribbon is from my stash, and the beautful flowers are by Wild Orchid Crafts.

I am sharing a little extra post over at Art by Mi Ran, with an image that is not released yet, so you all have a sneak peak!

 The papers I used for my card are from My Minds Eye. This is a really old paper pad, but I still have lots of leftovers, which I used to create this card.

I inked all the edges of the papers with Distress Ink Vintage Photo.

 Like I said earlier, this image is not released yet, she doesn't even have a name yet! She will be available soon in the Art by Mi Ran shop. I used the following Copic Markers to color her.

Leaf: G40, G43, G46

Pants: BG53, BG57, BG49

I used a cloud template and some Distress Ink Tumbled Glass to create the sky in the background, but it is so light, you can hardly see it in the picture.

The flowers I used are all from Wild Orchid Crafts. The frame is a laser cut piece from a local store called Xenos. The sentiment is from Whimsy Stamps and the lace from Kimya.

Today I am sharing a new card for Art by Mi Ran with you all!

 To create the shape of my card, I used a template from Dutch Doobadoo. The papers I used are from Wild Rose Studio, The Butterfly Garden paper pack. I used Distress Ink Vintage Photo on all edges.

 The image I used is called Fairy Freya. I used the following Copic Markers to color her.

CreaMiep - Murali

Hallo allemaal!

Vandaag is het aan mij om jullie weer wat te laten zien op het blog van CreaMiep.

Ik ben deze keer lekker aan het kliederen geweest, en dit is het resultaat

 De basis van de kaart is gemaakt met een mal van Dutch Doobadoo. Ik heb de basis uit kraft papier gesneden.

Daarna heb ik op een kraft sheet Distress Ink Vintage Photo gesmeerd, en daar structuurpasta over heen gedaan. Dit ben ik blijven mengen tot mijn witte pasta de kleur had van de Distress Ink. Daarna heb ik een mask van Dutch Doobadoo gepakt en dat op mijn kraft basis gelegd. Toen de gekleurde pasta erover, even laten drogen, en voila, een mooie zachte achtergrond!

 De stempel die ik heb gebruikt is van Whimsy Stamps, van Art by Mi Ran. Deze dame heet Murali, is ze niet mooi? Ik heb haar met Memento Tuxedo black inkt gestempeld op DCP papier, en daarna ingekleurd met Flexmarkers en Promarkers.

Om mijn kaartje helemaal af te werken heb ik verschillende bloemen gebruikt.

 I used another template from Dutch Doobadoo the create the shape of the card.

The papers I used are from My Minds Eye, Honey collection. I inked all the edges with Distress Ink Walnut Stain.

 The image I used is called Pearl, and I colored her up with my Copic Markers.

Top and background: W00, W1, W3

Eyes: G82, G85

 The sentiment is in Dutch and says Just a card from me. It is from a sentiment set from Noor Design. I used Versafine Onyx black ink to stamp it.

The flowers I used are from Wild Orchid Crafts. They give the perfect finish to a card.

 To create the shape of my card, I used a template from Dutch Doobadoo. 

The papers I used are from Bo Bunny, Prairie Chic collection. I inked the edges of all of my papers with Distress Ink Vintage Photo.

 The image I used is called Sweet Sally, and I used my Copic Markers to color her.

Art by Mi Ran - Life is better...

Hi all!

Today I am sharing my new card for Art by Mi Ran. I used one of the older images, because there are just too much to choose from!

I decided to make a summer themed card, as I can't wait for the summer to start!

 The papers I used are from a paper pad from Fancy Pants, Beach Babe collection, and I just loved the soft colors. I didn't even ink the papers like I usually do.

 The image I used is called Parfait Pam, and I used the following Copic Markers to color her.

Hair: E74, E77, E79

Eyes: B00, B01

Top: Y000, Y00, Y02

Skirt and Bow: RV23, RV25, RV29

I used Glossy Accents on the glass, but it is hard to capture that on camera.

Art by Mi Ran - Gentlemen George

Hi all!!

It has been quite some time since my last post... I have been sick for a few weeks, so I haven't had any chance to craft unfortunately. But I am BACKKKK!!!!
Today is my turn to host the Art by Mi Ran blog, so I am sharing the details of my card here.

 The papers I used for my card are by Echo Park, perfect for masculine cards. I didn't ink the edges like I usually do, but I felt this card didn't need it.

 The image I used is called Gentlemen George and I used my Copic Markers to color him. I used the following markers.
Skin: E000, E00, E21, E11, E13
Hair, Eyes and Stick: E55, E57
Suit and Hat: B24, B37, B39
Tie and Shoes: YR24, YR27
Hat and blouse: C00, C1

 The stars are made with a Silhouette cut file.

The viewfinder is also a Silhouette cut file. I added an orange brad to the center.
