Art by Mi Ran - Farren

Hi all!

Today I am sharing an extra post over at Art by Mi Ran, so I will share all the details here as well!

 I decorated the lid of a hard kraft box from Kimya. I used My Minds Eye papers for it, and inked all the edges with Distress Ink Walnut Stain.

 The image I used is called Farren, isn't she just beautiful? I used the following Copic Markers.

Skin: E000, E00, E21, E11, E13

Hair: Y20, YR23, E33, E35

Dress: BG53, BG57, BG49

Pants: Y32, Y35, Y38

Bag: W5, W7

Fence, eyes: Y35, Y37

Grass: YG91. YG93. YG95. YG97

Sky: C00, C0, C1, C2, BG0000, BG000, B000

The flowers I used for my card are from Wild Orchids crafts. I added some pieces of cord to it.

The sentiment is a sticker, and says Happy Birthday in Dutch. The lace, pleated ribbon, and the escpecially for you trim are all from Kimya, and so is the sentiment sticker.

The East Wind - Something Old, Something New

Hi all!

Time is flying by, June is already here! That means we are starting with a new challenge over at The East Wind. Our theme for this challenge is Something Old, Something New.

Here's the project I made.

 The papers I used are really old (hey, something old!) and are by My Minds Eye, Dilly Dally collection. I inked all the edges with Distress Ink Walnut Stain.

 The image I used is this months newsletter freebie, she is called Sassy Summer Fashion. I used the following Copic Markers to color her.

Skin: E000, E00, E21, E11, E13

Hair and eyes: E74, E77, E79

Shirt: R24, R27, R29, Y32, Y35, Y38

The sentiment I used is from Whimsy stamps. The lasercut doily (something new!!) is from a Dutch store called Xenos, and the lace (something new too) and ribbon are from Kimya.

Hi all!

I am sharing a little extra post over at Art by Mi Ran, with an image that is not released yet, so you all have a sneak peak!

 The papers I used for my card are from My Minds Eye. This is a really old paper pad, but I still have lots of leftovers, which I used to create this card.

I inked all the edges of the papers with Distress Ink Vintage Photo.

 Like I said earlier, this image is not released yet, she doesn't even have a name yet! She will be available soon in the Art by Mi Ran shop. I used the following Copic Markers to color her.

Skin: E000, E00, E21, E11, E13

Hair: Y32, Y35, Y38

Leaf: G40, G43, G46

Pants: BG53, BG57, BG49

Shirt: RV52, RV55, RV66

Grass: YG63, YG67

Ground: E35, E37, G40

I used a cloud template and some Distress Ink Tumbled Glass to create the sky in the background, but it is so light, you can hardly see it in the picture.

The flowers I used are all from Wild Orchid Crafts. The frame is a laser cut piece from a local store called Xenos. The sentiment is from Whimsy Stamps and the lace from Kimya.

Art by Mi Ran - Just a card from me

Hi all!

I am sharing another creation with the fabulous Art by Mi Ran images! 

 I used another template from Dutch Doobadoo the create the shape of the card.

The papers I used are from My Minds Eye, Honey collection. I inked all the edges with Distress Ink Walnut Stain.

 The image I used is called Pearl, and I colored her up with my Copic Markers.

Hair: Y21, Y23, Y26, Y28

Pearls: R81, R83, R85

Top and background: W00, W1, W3

Eyes: G82, G85

 The sentiment is in Dutch and says Just a card from me. It is from a sentiment set from Noor Design. I used Versafine Onyx black ink to stamp it.

The flowers I used are from Wild Orchid Crafts. They give the perfect finish to a card.

The East Wind Challenge - Friendship

Hi all!

This is my second post for today, please make sure to scroll down to see the first!

Today is the first day of a new month, which means a new challenge at The East Wind! On the first we always use the newsletter freebie as the image, so no exception this time!

Our theme for this challenge is Friendship, and the image Unky drew is just perfect for it!

 The papers I used are from My Minds Eye, and I just love the bright colors on this paper collection. I inked all the edges with Distress Ink Walnut Stain.

I used my Copic Markers again to color the image, and I used the following markers.

Art by Mi Ran - Just because

Hi all!

Today is my turn to host the Art by Mi Ran blog, so I am posting all the details about my card over here!

 The papers I used for my card are from an old My Minds Eye paper pad that I totally forgot about. I usually pick my papers first, and then color, so I was digging through my pile of paper pads and I found this one. All edges are inked with Distress Ink Vintage Photo.

 The image I used is called Little Garden Sally, and I used my Copic Markers to color her again.

I used the following markers.

Blush: E93, E95

Hair, fence: E23, E25, E27

Yellows: Y32, Y35, Y38

I made a rosette with my Silhouette, and added several differend Wild Orchid Crafts flowers around it.

Art by Mi Ran - January Progressive Challenge

Hi all!

Yesterday evening a new progressive challenge started over at the Art by Mi Ran Facebook group! Mi Ran drew a fabulous new image for everyone to play with, and today, I am sharing my DT sample!

 The papers I used are actually from a very old paper pad from My Minds Eye, I used to collect them when I just started card making. I finally decided to just use them, and not to gather dust on a shelf, and the bright colors are just wonderful! All edges are inked with Distress Ink Walnut Stain.

 The image we all used is Birthday Betty, and please make sure to read the challenge at our FB group how to get the image! I used my Copic Markers again to color her up, and I used the following colors.

The East Wind - Karaoke

Hi all!!

Do you like to sing? I do, but I can't... If I start singing, everyones ear drums will explode, so I stick to singing alone! But if you have friends who love to sing, I may have found the perfect image for a card for that friend! The image has just released over at The East Wind!

 Isn't this a perfect image!
I used some papers from My Minds Eye, a really old collection, but I found some left-overs while cleaning my craft room. All edges are inked with Distress Ink Vintage Photo.

 This image is called Karaoke, no need to explain that huh! She can be found in The East Wind shop. I used my Copic Marers to color her, and I used the following.

Clothes: Y32, Y35, Y38, BG53, BG57, BG59

I drew some fishnets on her arms, I thought it fitted the image.

The East Wind Challenge - Layers

Hi all!!

It is time for a brand new challenge at The East Wind! Our theme for this challenge is easy, we want to see lots of LAYERS!!!

Just imagine what you can do!

Here's my inspiration for the challenge

 The papers I used are from My Minds Eye, and the collection I used is really old. It is actually one of the first paper pads I ever bought! I matted every piece of designer paper on to some kraft cardstock.

I also inked the edges of every piece of paper I used with Distress Ink Black Soot.

 The image I used is called Lucy Loo Close-up, and she can be found here. I used my beloved Copic Markers to color her, and I used the following.

Skin: E0000, E000, E00, E21, E11, E13

Hair, lips and ring: R24, R46, R59

Eye and earring: G43, G46

I added some white gel pen to highlight the eyes and lips.

To finish off my card, I used some Wild Orchid Crafts flowers in the colors from my designer papers.

Can you believe it is already May? To be honest, I can't. Time is flying by so quickly, and I am not sure if I like it...

Anyway, I am here to share my latest Art by Mi Ran card with you, which is showcased on the blog today.

 I made a standard size square card, 5.5 inch. The papers I used are very old, they are actually from my first ever bought paper pad. They are by My Minds Eye, Happy go Lucky collection. 

 The image I used is called Sweet Linda, she is available for purchase here. I used my Copic Markers again to color her, and I used the following numbers.

Blush, lips: R20, R22

Hair: E31, E35, E57, E79

Dress and flowers: R81, R83, R85, R89

Slinky Tart - You are amazing

Hi all!!

Time for some new inspiration at Slinky Tart!!! Every week several images will be showcased, and this week it is my turn, along with some other Slinky girls! 

 To create the shape of my card, I used a Dutch Doobadoo template. They are my go-to templates if I want to create a shaped card. The papers I used are very old, from My Minds Eye, Happy go Lucky collection. All edges are inked with Distress Ink Walnut Stain.

Today is my turn to host the Art by MiRan showcase blog, and I wanted to share all the details from my card with you all.

 The sentiment I used is from a set by Studio Light, and I used Versafine Onyx Black ink to stamp it. I just love how black the ink is!

To finish off my card I tied a bow from blue ribbon, and added some Wild Orchid Crafts flowers to it.

Copic Marker Benelux - Een dochter!

Hoi allemaal!

Sandra hier, vandaag is het mijn beurt om jullie weer wat te laten zien wat ik voor Copic Marker Benelux heb gemaakt. Een week of 2 terug is mijn collega moeder geworden van een prachtige dochter, en daar moest natuurlijk een kaart voor gemaakt worden.

 Ik heb er voor gekozen om een shaker kaart te maken. De shaker heb ik gevuld met geponste voetjes en hartjes, uit restjes van mijn design papier. Het papier wat ik heb gebruikt, komt uit een blokje van My Minds Eye.

 De digi die ik heb gekleurd is van Mo Manning. Het is eigenlijk een jongetje, maar door van een stukje twine een strikje te maken en in de pluk haar te plakken, maak je er zo een meisje van.

Ik heb de volgende Copic Markers gebruikt

Huid: E0000, E000, E00, E21, E13

Shirt: R81, R83, R85

Luier: C00, C0, C2, C5

Fles: E40, E41

Konijn: YG00, YG03, YG06

 Met de letters van Noor Design heb ik de naam van de mooie meid op de kaart geplakt.

Als laatste heb ik wat bloemetjes gebruikt om mijn kaart af te werken.

Dit was het weer voor vandaag, ik hoop dat ik jullie heb kunnen inspireren.
