Pasen met Sandra - Dag 1 - Anreda DT

Hoi allemaal!

Vandaag dag 1 van mijn nieuwe serie, Pasen met Sandra. Voor degenen die dit niet weten, ik maak deze serie voor Anreda. Elke woensdag tot aan de Pasen, deel ik een Paaskaart, inclusief procesvideo, en vandaag is het tijd voor de eerste!

De eerste kaart is niet helemaal een Paas-kaart, maar meer een voorjaarskaart. Deze passen trouwens ook perfect in de serie hoor!

Anreda DT - We're all MAD here Layout

Hoi allemaal,

Onlangs was er een vriendinnetje jarig. Ze houdt van cosplay, en ik zag pas een foto van haar als Mad Hatter. Laat die foto nou perfect zijn voor layout met een teckniek die ik wilde proberen, maar eigenlijk te bang voor was!
Alle materialen die ik heb gebruikt, komen bij Anreda vandaan.

 Een layout zonder designpapier deed ik al vaker, maar dan op een witte basis. Al een tijdje wilde ik een zwarte basis, maar durfde er niet aan te beginnen. Totdat mijn man zei, wat heb je te verliezen? Een vel zwart cardstock? Jammer dan! En eigenlijk had hij gewoon gelijk, dus heb ik de stoute schoenen aangetrokken en ben ik inderdaad gewoon begonnen.

 Eerst heb ik met een paletmes en witte gesso een deel wit gemaakt. Op sommige randen heb ik het wat uitgeveegd met een billendoekje, geeft weer een heel ander effect. Toen de gesso droog was, heb ik er met Psst Purple, Psst Orange en Psst Lime green spetters op gemaakt. Ook heb ik wat Craft Emotions Mixed Media ink spray White gebruikt.
Toen de spetters ook droog waren, heb ik met structuurpasta en een Dutch Doobadoo Mask art Barbed Wire de achtergrond verder bewerkt.

 De kleuren die ik heb gebruikt, doen me een beetje aan Halloween denken, maar ze passen ook perfect bij de sfeer van deze foto.

 Onder de foto heb ik stukken kaasdoek gebruikt. Ik heb ze met de Psst Purple en Psst Orange gesprayd, zo passen ze perfect bij de layout. Onder de foto zit een doily, deze komt uit mijn eigen voorraad, net als het stickertje "Count your many blessings". De bloemetjes vond ik in een lang genegeerde bak, die ik tijdens het maken van deze layout begon uit te zoeken. Onder de bloemen zitten blaadjes. Deze ponste ik uit mosgroen cardstock met een hele oude Martha Stewart pons.

 De titel heb ik uit zwart cardstock gesneden met mijn Silhouette. Het bestandje komt uit de Silhouette store.
Onder het oranje kaasdoek, heb ik een stukje zwart crispy lint gedaan.

 Verspreid over mijn layout zitten pareltjes, gemaakt met Nuvo Glow Drops in Apple Sour en Nuvo Crystal drops in Crushed Grape.

Anreda DT - Layout Leuk, Leuker, Leukst (incl. video-tutorial)

Hoi allemaal,

Vandaag heb ik met mijn DT-spulletjes van Anreda weer een mooie layout voor jullie, met wederom een video-tutorial. Vinden jullie het fijn om het op beeld te zien? Zou je dingen anders willen, of heb je tips of verzoeken? Laat me dat dan graag even weten door een reactie te geven :)

 Onze jongste dochter is pas voor het eerst naar de kapper geweest. Dat moest natuurlijk vastgelegd worden, en ik zou mezelf niet zijn als ik dit niet zou scrappen! En ja, ze vond het echt leuk, ze had de grootste lol in de stoel!

Voor mijn layout heb ik als basis een vel Corrugated cardboard van Joy!Crafts gebruikt. Daarop heb ik een vel wit cardstock gescheurd, waarop ik de mixed media technieken kon gebruiken.

Als eerst heb ik met Psst in de kleuren Antique Gold, Purple en Lime Green spetters gemaakt. Vervolgens heb ik met Dutch Doobadoo Mask Art Dots en structuurpasta de achtergrond verder bewerkt. Toen dat droog was, heb ik met dezelfde inkt-sprays weer opnieuw gespetterd. Tot slot heb ik met de Noor Design Script stempels de achtergrond bewerkt met watervaste inkt.

 Tussen het ribbelkarton en het witte cardstock, zit een stuk zandkleurig crispy lint, dat vind ik zulk leuk spul!

 De chipboard titel komt uit een set van Marianne Design. De swirls in de bloementoeven zijn uit de Dutch Doobadoo greyboard square frames set. Beiden zijn ze eerst geverfd met witte gesso, en daarna heb ik er Psst Lime Green direct op gesprayd.

Om mijn layout af te maken, heb ik witte roosjes en witte sweetheart blossoms gebruikt, en wat paarse roosjes. Onder de roosjes zitten blaadjes, geponst uit groen cardstock. Dit heb ik met een hele oude pons van Martha Stewart gedaan, ik ben er niet eens zeker van of die nog ergens te krijgen is.
Als allerlaatste heb ik Nuvo Glow Drops Apple Sour, Nuvo Crystal Drops Simply White en Nuvo Crystal Drops Crushed Grape gebruikt.

Layout - You are my world

Hoi allemaal,

Vandaag deel ik een layout met jullie. Ik had zin om te scrappen, dus heb al het andere eens aan de kant geschoven en ben lekker voor mezelf bezig geweest.

 Voor deze layout heb ik een foto van mijn dochters gebruikt. De foto is gemaakt door mijn moeder. Ze waren samen aan het spelen, en mijn moeder maakte de foto terwijl ze toevallig allebei haar kant op keken. Ik ben zo verliefd op deze foto!

De spetters op de achtergrond zijn gemaakt met Psst! in turquoise kleur, verdunde Distress Ink Vintage Photo refill en verdunde gesso.

 Het papier dat ik heb gebruikt is een vel van Maja Design, Denim and Friends collectie. Ik heb het papier bij Kimya gekocht, samen met een lintenset en een embellishment set. Dus alle decoratie met uitzondering van de bloemen, komt bij Kimya vandaan.

De titel heb ik gesneden met mijn Silhouette Cameo.

 De bloemen die ik heb gebruikt, zijn van Wild Orchid Crafts. De blaadjes heb ik uit kraft papier geponst met een pons van Martha Stewart.

 Achter de bloementoeven zit kaasdoek. Ik heb dit gekleurd met Distress Ink Vintage Photo en water, om hem te laten matchen met het papier.

Ik heb om mijn layout af te werken, parels gemaakt met Nuvo Crystal drops in de kleuren Simply White, Dark Walnut en Caribbean Ocean.

Femke 6 jaar

Hoi allemaal,

Onze oudste dochter zit sinds januari op de basisschool en had onlangs haar eerste kinderfeestje. Nog niet eerder had ik erover nagedacht, dus toen ze vol trots met een uitnodiging thuis kwam, gingen bij mij de raderen draaien. Nadat ik zorgvuldig een cadeautje uit had gekozen, bedacht ik dat ik een tasje wilde pimpen, om het cadeau in te geven.

 Het tasje dat ik heb gebruikt, is een kraft tasje van Kimya. In mijn voorraad vond ik het papier Birthday Girl van Echo Park, perfect voor een jarige dame! ALle randjes zijn aangezet met Distress Ink Walnut Stain.

 De stempel die ik heb gebruikt, is van My Favorite Things, de set heet You're Super. Ook heb ik de bijpassende stans gebruikt. Ik heb haar met mijn Copic Markers gekleurd, ik gebruikte de volgende markers

Huid: E0000, E000, E00, E21, E11, E13

Haar: E42, E44, E47

Jurk: Y32, Y35, Y38

Cape en laarzen: RV53, RV55, RV58

 Bovenaan het tasje maakt ik van labels en een bannerpons vlaggetjes en maakte de naam van de jarige erop. Het lintje en de labels komen ook bij Kimya vandaan. Ook de doily achter de stempel komt er vandaan.

 Met stempelsets van Noor!Design, maakte ik de rest van de teksten erop. Verder veel verschillende bloemetjes van Wild Orchid Crafts en blaadjes, geponst met een Martha Stewart pons, maken het af.

Ook heb ik Nuvo Crystal Drops gebruikt, de roze zijn Carnation Pink, en de groene zijn Glow in the Dark drops, kleur Apple Sour. Ze zijn zo leuk, en ze "glowen"dus echt in het donker!

The East Wind - Sharing Autumn

Hi all!!

I am here with a brand new released image from The East Wind! When I saw this image, I immediately fell in love with it, I just had to use her!

 I used some Echo Park papers for my card, and I colored her in the same colors as my designer papers. All edges of the papers are inked with Distress Ink Walnut Stain.

 The image is called Sharing Autumn, and isn't she the prettiest? She is available in the shop! I used my Copic Markers to color her, and I used the following.

Dress: Y21, Y23, Y26

Vest: W00, W0, W2, W5

Bench: E33, E35, E37

 The sentiment I used is from the Autumn Greetings set from Amy R.

To finish off my card I added some Wild Orchid Crafts flowers, and used my Martha Stewart punch to make some leaves.

The East Wind - 2000 likes on Facebook!

Hi all!!

Today we are celebrating that The East Wind has 2000 likes on Facebook! Isn't that awesome? Some of the DT members decided to play with the same image, so here is the project I made with her!

 To create the shape of this tag, I used a template from Dutch Doobadoo. The designer paper is from Basic Grey, Eerie collection, and all edges are inked with Distress Ink Black Soot.

 The image we all used is called Baby Aurora, Witch and a Kitty. I used my Copic Markers on her, and I used the following.

Hair: V12, V15, V17
Dress and hat: YG93, YG95, YG97
Pumpkin: YR20, YR24, YR27
Cat: W7, 100
Broom: E55, E57

 The sentiment is in Dutch and say Creepy Halloween. It is from a stampset from the Dutch webshop CreaMiep.

To finish off my tag, I used some Wild Orchid Crafts flowers, and punched some leaves from a sheet of green paper from the paper collection.

Art by Mi Ran - Flutterby

Hi all!!

I have an extra project to share with you all! You can find the post at the Art by Mi Ran blog, but all the details about it will be found in this post!!

I made a 5,5 inch square card. The papers I used are by Wild Rose studio, and I just love the soft colors in it. I rounded the corners of my papers with my We R Memory Keepers Corner Chomper.

 The image I used for my card is called Flutterby, and you can find her here. I used the following Copic Markers to color her up.

Art by Mi Ran also generously provided some images to the DT to work with, and this is what I created.

 I kept my card pretty simple, because the paper I used is pretty full. The papers I used are from a paperpad by Avec, and I love the purple tone in it. I used some sheer purple ribbon as an embellishment, and I punched some snowflakes with my Martha Stewart punch. I also added some purple rhinestones to the centers of the snowflakes and to the corners of the image and the card.

The image I used is called Princess of Snowflake, and she can be found here. I used my Copic Markers to color her up, and I used the following.

Art by Mi Ran - Snowy Dreams

Hi all!!!

Today is my turn to host the showcase blog at Art by Mi Ran, and I wanted to share the card I made with Snowy Dreams.

 The card is pretty Clean and Simple for me, no fancy flowers et cetera, just a lot of coloring and some punching and die-cutting! The paper I used for my background is from SEI, Krissy Kringle collection.

 There was a lot of coloring involved, and I printed out the image pretty large! It measures 5.5 inches, it barely fitted on my card. The image is called Snowy Dreams, and she can be found here.

 The tree is made with a die from Marianne Design, and I added some Dutch Doobadoo structure paste on it, to create some snow

To finish off my card, I punched some snowflakes with my Martha Stewart punch, and added a rhinestone in the center of each snowflake.

Art by Mi Ran - Ice Skater Macy

Hi all!!

Welcome again to my blog, and welcome to all new followers!! Today is my turn to host the Art by Mi Ran Showcase blog, and here is the project I made for it.

 I am still in the Christmas/Holiday mood, eventhough I already finished my Christmas cards for this year in september already.

The papers I used are by Echo Park, and I have used it so many times, there are only scraps left, no full sheets. I am really liking this paperpad and I am thinking of buying another one.

 The image I used is called Ice Skater Macy, and she will be released later today, so this is actually a sneek peek! Will try to pop back in later to add the link to the shop. 

I used my Copic Markers again to color her, and I used the following.

Skin: E000, E00, E11, E13, and E93 for blush

Hair: BG10, BG11, BG13

Eyes, Coat and Skates: YG91, YG93, YG95, YG97

Pants: B32, B37, B39

Earmuffs, scarf and mittens: R22, R35, R46, R59

The sentiment I used is from a set from AmyR, stamped with Versafine Onyx black ink. The snowflakes were made with a punch from Martha Stewart, and I added some bling to the centers.

Whimsy Stamps DT-Call

Hi all!

I saw the Whimsy DT-Call post a while ago on Facebook, and I thought I'd give it a try!


Whimsy Stamps is a brand I love, every single designer they carry is gorgeous!!

For this card, I decided to use Summer Fairy from Wee Stamps by Sylvia Zet. I got this stamp free with a magazine a while back, so I decided to pull it out and use it. If you want to buy this image in rubber, you can find it here, and here for a digital version.
The papers I used for my card are by Bo Bunny, Primrose collection. All edges are inked with Distress Ink Walnut Stain.

I started stamping the image, pulling out my Memento. Pressed my inkpad on the stamp, and stamped the image, and I didn't see anything.... OOPS, I just used Angel Pink instead of Tuxedo Black... Never did No-Line technique before, so this is really my first try at it. I am not really happy with the result, but it's not bad for a first try I guess! I used my Copic Markers to color the image, and I used the following.
Skin: E000, E00, E11, E13 and E93 for the cheeks and lips.
Hair: E33, E35, E37, E49
Dress: YG60, YG63, YG67
Shoes: RV21, RV23, RV25, RV29
Wings: YG60, YG63, RV21, RV23
I used my Nestabilities Circle die to cut out the image, and matted it with a scalloped circle

I used some pink ribbon to tie a bow and added a jumbo pearly rhinestone from Wild Orchid Crafts. I also tucked 2 pieces of filmstrip underneath. I made them with the Noor Design Filmstrip die.

The sentiment I used is also from Whimsy stamps, it's from the Party Mini Letter Seals set, which you can find here.
All flowers I used are from Wild Orchid Crafts.
