Growing old - Aud Sentiments Midway Reminder

Hi all!

Welcome to all of my new followers, thanks for signing up!
Today I want to share my Aud Sentiments project with you all, since we are already halfway in this challenge! The theme for this challenge is FOR A GUY, so anything masculine goes, as long as it has a sentiment on the front.

For this challenge we are sponsored by the lovely Bugaboo, and they are offering 7(!) digi's of the winners choice. Just click on the banner below to go to their shop!

Jodie from Bugaboo also generously provided some of her images to the DT, and this is what I created.
I don't know how about you, but I always have a hard time making masculine cards. For some reason I love flowers and ribbon and pearls and lace and so on... So I had a hard time on this challenge, but I actually like how this turned out!
I made a stairstep card, and I used an image by Bugaboo. Let's take a closer look at the image, shall we?
The image is called Gus - Optional and can be found here. Gus is a grumpy old man with a great sense of humor, that is why I like this image! He is colored with my Copic Markers, and I used the following.
Skin: E00, E11
Hair: C5, C7
Shirt: R29, R59
Shorts: B02, B05
Cart: YG03, YG06
I also used some Glossy Accents on his glasses.
This is the middle part of my cart, the stepping part. I used two dies by Marianne Design for the fence and the birdhouse. The embossed parts are inked with Distress Ink Walnut Stain, as well are the edges of my papers. The paper I used is by Basic Grey, Oxford collection. The little flag banner is made with a die by Joy!Crafts and different pieces of patterned paper.
This is the right part of my card, and the sentiment came with the image. I can actually imagine Gus saying this, LOL!! I used my Nestabilities Labels Four to cut it out.
That was it for today, I hope you all like it!
Now pop over to Aud Sentiments and join us with your masculine cards!

Hugs, Sandra
