The East Wind Challenge - Mail Art

Hi all!!

Today is May first, so a new challenge has started at The East Wind! Our theme for this challenge is Mail Art, so we want to see decorated envelopes, scripted paper, an image with letter, and so on!

I decided to make a card with a matching envelope. To create my envelope, I used a template from Dutch Doobadoo.
The papers I used are from K&Company, Urban collection. This is actually the first paper pad I bought when I started scrapbooking, a billion years ago, so it is really really old!
All edges are inked with Distress Ink Walnut Stain.

The image I used is this months newsletter freebie, and she is called Fung La. I used my Copic Markers to color her.
Skin: E000, E00, E21, E11, E13
Hair: E02, E08, E09, E18
Shirt and Eyes: B91, B93, B95
Lips and hair bands: R83, R85
The sentiment is in Dutch. The big words says thanks, and the companion stamp on the lower right corner says for your support. They are from a set from Noor Design.

The N.Y.C. isn't part of the papers, I stamped it with a stamp from Noor Design, and I used Memento Rich Cocoa ink for it

This was it, I hope you like it. Please pop over to The East Wind and join us!

Hugs, Sandra

ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE #214 - ANYTHING GOES

Hi all!

Time for a new challenge at Robyn's Fetish, and trust me, it's an easy one! ANYTHING GOES! Our sponsor this week is Robyn's Fetish and she is offering 3 images of the winners choice! Isn't that lovely? Just click on the banner below to go to the shop.
ROBYN'S FETISH DIGITAL STAMPS

Robyn also generously provided some images to the DT to work with, and this is what I created.
I decided to do something completely different than what I normally do. When I first started papercrafting, I did some scrapbooking. I switched to cardmaking for several reasons, but every now and then I love to do some scrapbooking again. As soon as I saw the images Robyn was offering us, I knew I had to make a lay out with it.

The images I used are some from a set called Babe Bubble Bath, and can be found here. I used my Copic Markers to color the images, but I didn't do any blending or so, so you could actually use any type of marker you want.
This cutie patootie is my little girl, called Tessa. I think she was about 4 weeks old when we took this photo. She really enjoys bathing time, but she rather goes in to the shower with her daddy then her bath tub!
The papers I used for this lay-out are by K&Company, Dollhouse collection. The flowers I used are by Wild Orchid Crafts, and the pearls and lace are from my stash. The pearls around the page are made with a pearl maker pen.

This was it for today, please pop over to Robyn's Fetish and join us!

Hugs, Sandra

Fab 'n' Funky Challenge - Pink

Hi all!

Welcome to a new challenge at Fab 'n' Funky! This week we want to see some PINK in your projects.
Again, we have an amazing sponsor for this challenge, Art by Mi Ran! She is offering 3 images to the winner, isn't that generous? Just click on the banner below to go to the shop!

Mi Ran also provided some images to the DT to work with, and this is what I created!

I made a notebook, and pink it is! I took a notepad that was on my desk, and measured it. Then I made a little cover for it, and the base was finished. The papers I used are by K&Company. I have had them in my stash for ages, but they are really lovely! I should use them more often!
The image is generously sponsored by Art by Mi Ran and is called Miss Sunshine. Isn't she gorgeous? She can be found here. I used my Copic Markers to color the image, and I used the following.
Skin: E000, E00, E21, E13 and R20 for blush.
Hair: E23, E25, E27 and E29
Braid: RV29, RV34 and RV21
Dress: RV69, RV29, RV34, RV21
Bag: YG93, YG95, RV21
The scrabble letters are from Noor!Design, as well as the pink die-cut. The white doily is from my stash, and so are the pearls. The flowers are Wild Orchid Crafts. The pink ribbon was a gift from a friend.

That was it for today, I hope you like it! Please pop over to Fab 'n' Funky and join us!
