Love to Create - Black, Orange, Lime and/or Purple

Hi all!

How are you all? I hope you had a fabulous weekend! Weekend is over, which means a brand new challenge at Love to Create! This week we are color inspired, we want to see Black, Orange, Lime and/or Purple.
Our sponsor for this challenge is Simply Betty Stamps, and she is offering a $10 gift certificate. Isn't that generous? Just click on the banner below to visit the shop!

Simply B also generously offered some images to the DT to work with, and this is what I created.

As I said in my post yesterday, we don't celebrate Halloween in the Netherlands. That's why I only have 1 pack of Halloween papers, and thankfully they had the right colors! The papers I used are from the Basic Grey Eerie collection. All edges are inked with Distress Ink Black soot.
The image I used is called Zombie BDay Betty, and she can be found here. I used my Copic Markers to color her, and I used the following.
Skin: E000, E00, E11, E13, E93
Hair: C5, C7, 100
Eyes and shirt: YG03, YG06, YG09
Cupcake: YR04, YR07
Background: V12, V15, V17
The letters were from the Basic Grey Eerie sticker sheet.
The brads I used were also from the Basic Grey Eerie collection, except from the Boo! one and the large glittery black one. They were from my stash.
To finish everything off I also tied some purple ribbon and orange ribbon around my card.

This was it for today, I hope you all like it. Please pop over to Love to Create and join us!

Betty also generously provided some images to the DT to work with, and this is what I created.
To create the shape of this card I used a template from Dutch Doobadoo. The template was in a goodiebag I got at a craft day at Tiets.  The papers I used are from Basic Grey, Little Black Dress collection. All edges are inked with Distress Ink Walnut Stain.
To create the sentiment, i used a die from Noor!Design, and cut it in half to go around the corner.
The image I used is geneously sponsored by Simply B, and this gorgeous woman is called Victorian Irene. She can be found here.  I used my Copic Markers to color her up, and I used the following.
Skin: E00, E11, E13 and E93 for blush
Hair: E51, E53, E55
Dress: W00, W0, W2, W5, R22, R24, R27
The big white flower is from Joy Crafts, and the red berries are by Magnolia. The red ribbon is from my stash.

This was it for today, I hope you all like it. Please pop over to Love to Create and help us celebrate Simply B's 4th birthday!

I knew you could do it! - Digi Galore DT post!

Hi all!!

The first of a new month means a new challenge at Digi Galore! This time we want to see anything but square! Not that hard right?

We also have a fabulous sponsor for this challenge! Simply B Stamps is offering 3 digi's of the winners choice! Just click on the banner below to go to their shop!
simplybstamps.net

Simply B Stamps also generously provided some images for the DT to work with, and this is what I created with it!
I used an MDF heart by Let's Get Bizzee, I really love their MDF stuff!! I used some Authentique Paper to cover the heart, and before adhering it I used my Tim Holtz distressing tool on the edges. The edges of the paper and the heart are inked with Distress Ink Fired Brick.
Like I said, the image is by Simply B, and is called Knotted Ali, and can be found here. Ali is colored with my trusted Copics, and I used the following.
Skin: E50, E21, E13 and R20 for blush.
Hair: E51, E53, E55, E57
Shirt: R00, R02, R05
Pants: W00, W0, W2, W5
Chair: E55, E57, E59
The shape behind Ali is made with a die from Noor!Design. The embossed parts are also inked with Distress Ink Fired Brick. As you can see there is a hidden tag behind the diecut.

I stamped the sentiment on it. The sentiment is by AmyR, and matches perfectly with the image! I remember myself having a hard time knotting my shoes!
In the end I found out that is because the one who tried to teach me is right handed and I am a leftie!! But hey, I can still tie my shoes, that's the most important thing of it all!!
I used a piece of seambinding ribbon to tie a bow on the label

I used some flowers and pearls to finish my card.

That is it for today, I hope you all like it! Now pop over to Digi Galore, and link up your project! Remember, anything but square!

Hugs, Sandra
