Digi Haven - Fall

Hi all!

Time for a new challenge at Digi Haven! We want to see some FALL-themed projects!
We also have a fabulous sponsor for this challenge, Floppy Latte! Floppy Latte is offering $6 gift certificate to the randomly chosen winner! Isn't that awesome?
Just click on the banner below to go to the shop!
http://www.floppylattedesigns.com/catalog/

Floppy Latte also generously provided some images to the DT to work with, and this is what I created with it.
I made a card using some scraps I had left. The papers are by My Minds Eye, and by using the scraps, there is nothing left of this paperpad... Guess I will have to buy me a new one! :)
The image is by Floppy Latte, and can be found here.
I used a Nestabilities die to cut out the sentiment.
All edges are inked with Distress Ink Vintage Photo. The buttons I used are from my stash, and so are the ribbons.. The flowers are by Prima Marketing and Marianne Design, and were the perfect fall colors!

That was it for today, I hope you all like it! Now hop over to Digi Haven and join us with your fall project!

Hugs, Sandra

We also have a fabulous sponsor for this challenge, Floppy Latte! The winner receives a $6,- voucher to spend in the store!
Just click on the banner below to go to the shop.

The images used by the DT are also generously sponsored by Floppy Latte, and this is what I created.
Told you this was my favorite theme!! Just love the image and the Tim Holtz Butterfly die!
The image I used is called Butterflies and Flowers, and can be found here. The image is colored with my Copic Markers, and I used the following.
Flowers: RV91, RV93, RV95
Leafs: YG91, YG93, YG95
Butterflies: V000, V01, V22, V28 W3, W5
The die I used is by Tim Holtz, and cut out twice. Once from kraft card stock and once from patterned paper.
The sentiment I used is by Noor!Design, stamped with Versafine ink.
The patterned paper I used is by Authentique, and I fussy cut the flowers from one of the papers.
The edges of my papers are inked with Distress Ink Vintage photo.

You make my heart flutter!

Hi all,

Did you enjoy our previous challenge at Red Carpet Studio? That was our layout week, so that means it is time for another card challenge!
This week, we are sponsored by Floppy Latte Digital Design, and I just love their digis! They are offering a $10 gift certificate, so you really want to join this challenge!!

This weeks challenge theme is BUTTERFLIES, inspired by the movie "the butterfly effect".

This is what I came up with!
I made a 5inch square card from creamcolored cardstock. The image is again colored with my Copic Markers, here is a close-up.
The image is generously sponsored by Floppy Latte, you can find it here. I used the following Copic Markers to color it.
Butterfly body: E57, E59
Wings: Y35, Y38 and BG72, BG57.
After coloring I cut the image out with an oval die. I used a swirl stamp from my stash, and stamped it with Memento London Fog ink.

The papers I used are by My Minds Eye, The Sweetest Thing Bluebell collection. I love the yellow/blue combination! The large butterfly is part of a border die by Tim Holtz, finished with some blue rhinestones. I also punched some butterflies from the same papers I used on the card.
The ribbon is from my stash, and so are the hatpins.

I couldn't help myself putting some flowers on my card, and I added a charm to finish it off!

That was it for now, I hope you like it!
Hop over to Red Carpet Studio and show us some butterflies!

Robyn's Fetish #135 - Black, White and one color

***This is my second post for today, please make sure to scroll down to see the first!!!***

Hi all,

I am back again, but I promise, this is the last one for today!

Time for a new challenge over at Robyn's Fetish! Well, y'all see this weeks theme in my title, and yes, again black and white! What are the odds?!? The only thing different for Red Carpet Studio's challenge, is that you can add 1 extra color, but only one!!! This one was easier for me to make, just bwcause that one color!
This week we are sponsored by Floppy Latte Digital Designs, and they were that generous to offer some of their digi's to the DT. They are also hosting our prize this week!
This is what I created, using their stamp Flower Bonnet. You can find this gorgeous digi here! Isn't it gorgeous! The moment I saw this gorgeous digi, I thought CAMEO!!!!! And then, there was my problem... Cameo's are oval shaped, and I had no oval die! What to do now?
Well........ go to the store and buy me some!! Haha, easiest way to solve a problem! I was finally able to make my own cameo!
I made my own background paper for this card. I used a piece of white cardstock, and stamped some clocks on it with Versamark ink. I used clear embossingpowder and inked my cardstock with Distress Ink Dusty Concord. I used a babywipe to clean the clocks, and there it was. My own home-made backgroundpaper. I have never done this before, so I am quite happy this turned out the way i hoped.
All the edges of the white papers are inked with the same Dusty Concord ink. I also used some purple polka dot ribbon from my stash. The purple ribbon flowers are also from my stash, an white ones I cut out with a creatables die.

That was my Robyn's Fetish DT card for today, I hope you join us!

I would love to enter the following challenges:
Challenges for Everybody - Anything goes
That craft place - No squares allowed
Sweet Stampin' Challenge - Flowers
Cards Galore - Silhouette

Hugs, Sandra
