The Stamping Chef - Anything Goes

Hi all!!

It is time for a brand new challenge at The Stamping Chef! As always our theme is Anything Goes, and I have a very special project to share with you all!!
Last Monday was my daughter's FIRST birthday! The image I used to make her invitations, is drawn by Tamara, and she designed it especially for my daughter! I am so proud about it, and that is why I wanted to share this with you all!

The papers I used to create my card are by Basic Grey, Olivia collection. I am also planning on making a mini album from the birthday party, and I will use the same paper collection for it.

The image is called Happy Birthday Tess. She isn't available at the shop, because she is especially designed for me, but there are tons and tons of other lovely images for sale at The Stamping Chef.
I used my Copic Markers again to color her, and I used the following.
Skin: E000, E00, E11, E13, and  E93 for blush
Hair: E51, E53, E55
Eyes: YG95, YG97
Shirt: RV21, RV23, RV25, RV29
Dress: B91, B93, B95, B97, B99
I used my circle and scalloped circle Nestabilities die to cut out the image.

The balloon is made with a die from Marianne Design, and I punched a 1 with an old number punch.

The gifts are made with dies from Noor Design, and I used Distress Ink VIntage Photo to ink the embossed parts.

The inside is stamped with a set from Noor Design, and is perfect to make invitations with.

This was it for today, I hope you like it. Please pop over to The Stamping Chef and join us, ANYTHING GOES!!!

Here's what I created

I made a 13,5cm square card, using some Carte Bella papers. All edges are inked with Distress Ink Vintage Photo, and I really like the look of it.

The gifts are made with a die from Noor!Design, and after cutting and embossing I inked the gifts with the same Distress Ink while they were still in the die.
My wishlist is made with a stamp from Noor!Design. I stamped it with Stampin Up's Whisper White ink on kraft cardstock, and heat embossed it with white embossing powder.
The notebook border, and the vintage border under the red paper are also made with dies dies from Noor!Design.

Copic Marker Benelux - Yes, officer?

Hi all!!!

Something totally different from me! I always have a hard time making masculine cards, do you? I am always afraid to embellish is too much, and that it looks feminine.
I will always be tough I guess!

One of my friends birthday, forced me into making a masculine card, and here it is!

For the shape of my card, I used a template by Dutch Doobadoo. The patterned paper is from my scraps, so I have no idea which brand it is, sorry.

The image I used is called Yes, Officer, by The Stamping Chef, and she can be found here.

Huid/Skin: E000, E00, E11, E13 en R20 voor de wangen
Haar/Hair: E13, E08, E09, E18
Ogen/Eyes: E08, E09
Blauw/Blue: B93, B95, B97
Zwart/Black: C3, C5, C7
Grijs/Grey: C1, C3

I used one of my oval dies to cut the image out, and behind the image is a diecut from Noor!Design

The sentiment I used is from Noor!Design, and was perfect for this card.

To make my card stand up straight, I used another die from Noor!Design, it is a card standard.

Fijne dag verder!

Liefs, Sandra

Love to Create - Inspired by a Song, Book or Movie

Hi all!

Time for a new challenge at Love to Create! This time we have a great theme, Inspired by a Song, Book or Movie! Our sponsor for this challenge is the amazing The Stampin Chef! The Stamping Chef is offering 3 images of the winner's choice, isn't that generous? Just click on the image below to go the the shop!
The Stamping Chef

The Stamping Chef also generously provided some images to the DT to work with, and this is what I created.

For my card I was inspired by the song All I want for Christmas is you from Mariah Carey. This is my all time favorite Christmas song!! Kind of an earworm, and I couldn't stop singing it while creating this card.
To create the shape of this card, I used a template form Dutch Doobadoo. The patterned paper is a scrap that was in my stash, but it didn't have a nametag, so I have no idea which brand it is. All edges are inked with Distress Ink Walnut Stain.
The image I used for my card is called Checking out, and she can be found here. I used my Copic Markers again to color the image, and I used the following.
Skin: E000, E00, E11, E13
Hair: E23, E25, E27, E29
Outfit: R24, R27, R29, and W00, W0, W2, W5
Gift: G40, G43, G46
All the fuzzy parts are alsol covered with Stickles Frosted Lace.
The music notes seemed rather fitting with our theme for this week, and are made with a die from Noor Design.
The sentiment is also from Noor!Design, and says Happy December 25th!

This was it for today, I hope you like it. Please pop over to Love to Create and join us!

Are you enjoying the sun at where you are? Unfortunately I am not, as I have caught the flu.. Thankfully I can't infect you all via computer, so it's safe to post here!

I used a digi from The Stamping Chef, she is called Lillith. Of course, I used my Copic Markers again to color her.
