Hey Girlfiend! - Drunken Stampers DT Post

Hi all!

Cheers to a new challenge at Drunken Stampers! The Bahama Mamas are hosting this week, and we are inspired by the movie Breakfast at Tiffany's! We want to see some bling!!
DS130

This is my project!
Now there's some bling right? I used some My Minds Eye Papers to create this card, and all edges are distressed with Distress Ink Brushed Corduroy.
Let me show you a close-up of my colored image.
The image I used is by The Stamping Chef, and is called Through The Rabbit Hole, and can be found here. She is colored with my Copic Markers, and I used the following.
Skin: E50, E51, E53 and R20 for blush.
Hair: E40, E41, E43
Shirt: BG11, BG13, BG15
Leafs: G43, G46
Flowers: R22, R24, R27, R29
Hat: C5, C7, 100

The sentiment is by Nicole Verkooijen, stamped with Versafine Onyx Black. I used a StampinUp! piercing template for the pierced edge.
How about the bling? Pretty much right!
I punched 2 holes on the top of my card and made a lacey bow to finish my card. That's right, no flowers this time! Shocking huh!!

Anyway, that was it for now, I hope you all like it! Now hop over to Drunken Stampers and join us!

Congratulations - Drunken Stampers DT post

Hi all!

Time for a new challenge at Drunken Stampers, hosted by team Bahama Mama's!
This challenge is all about the movie STAR WARS, so we want to see some rockets, et cetera!
DS128
Not really hard, isn't it!

I made a card with an image from The Stamping Chef, I really love Tamara's images! This one is called Lift Off, and can be found here.
Here is a close-up of my colored image.
Lift Off is colored with my Copic Markers, and usually I leave the background black, or a bit shaded, but this time I decided to color the whole background. For that, I used a Nestabilities die to cut my image, and colored the full background with my B99 marker. I wasn't worried about being precise. After coloring I used some Distress Ink Faded Jeans to go over my B99, and a tiny bit of Distress Ink Black Soot to darker it up even more. I did my background before coloring my image, because I wasn't too sure this was going to work. These are the markers I used to color my image.
Rocket: C00, C0, C2, C3, C5, C7
Flames: R27, YR27, Y17
Stars: Y15, Y17
Earth: G43, G46, B95, B97
Planet: R27, YR27, Y17, G43, G46
The papers I used are by Echo Park. I used an Avec Borderpunch on the brown paper. The sentiment is by AmyR, congratulations set. The metal stars I used are from Making Memories. The rhinestone stars are from my stash.

That was it for today, I hope you like it!
Now hop over to Drunken Stampers and join us!

Drunken Stampers DT - Braveheart

Hi all!

We are back! Bahama Mama Teams turn to host a brand new challenge at Drunken Stampers!
Like always we are inspired by movies, and this weeks movie is Braveheart. Beautiful movie, isn't it!
DS126

I myself used the gingham as inspiration.
The image I used is from The Stamping Chef. I simply love Tamara's images, and I am pleasured she is my friend. The image is called Culinary Claire, and can be found here.
Here is a close-up of my colored image.
Claire is colored with my Copic Markers, and I used the following.
Skin: E50, E51, E53
Lips: E08
Hair: E11, E08, E29
Apron: W00, W0, W2, W5
Blue details: B95, B97, B99
Chocolate: E55, E29
The sentiment is from a set from Noor Design, and the text is in Dutch. It says: You can't waste LOVE! So true, and perfect for this image.
The papers I used are by Authentique, and they have some really nice gingham patterns on them. The gingham ribbon was from my stash, but wasn't in the right shade, so I used some Distress Ink on them. I also used some twine from my stash.

That was it for today, and hop, go to Drunken Stampers and join us!

You stole my heart - Drunken Stampers Challenge

Hi all!

Are you ready for a Bahama Mama? No? Well, you better be!! Cause it is team Bahama Mama's turn at Drunken Stampers to host a new challenge! This week we are inspired by the movie Twilight, so we want to see some projects based on the movie, or creatures of the night!
DS124

This is my project.
I was a bit worried about this card, because my card is based on a creature of the night, but I wasn 't completely sure a thief is a creature of the night. Especially not with the laugh on his face! But then I got full approval by the other Bahama Mama's AND Mignight Margaritha's, so I decided to give it a go, and this is the result!
Here is a close-up of my colored image. The image I used is by Mo Manning. It used to be a freebie for Valentine, but is now available for purchase here. I used my Copics to color him, and I used the following.
Skin: E50, E51, E53
Clothes: E53, E55, E57, E59
Heart: R83, R85, R89
When looking at the colored image right now, I probably should have used a black marker to darken up the facial mask and the stripes on his shirt, but whatever! :)
The sentiment I used is handwritten and I also stamped two hearts on it.
The base of my card is made with CoreDinations cardstock. The DP I used is by Basic Grey, Little BLack Dress collection. The lace is from my stash, and so are the pearls.

I made two little flower bouquets, and the pink/purple flowers happened to match the color of my cardbase EXACTLY! I didn't do that on purpose, I finished the whole card and I searched for some flowers to go on it and I found these. All flowers are from Marianne Design. I also used my Martha Stewart leaf punch.

That was it for today, let's hop to Drunken Stampers and join us! But remember, hop in a straight line or you get caught for hopping under influence!!!

Hat and Coat: BG11, BG13 and BG15
Umbrella: RV21, RV23
Duck: G21, G28, YG23
Water: BG0000, BG000
The sentiment I used is by AmyR Underwater sentiment Set. Amy's sets are also available at All That Scraps. The dessinpapers I used are by My Minds Eye. I also used some pink and aqua colored ribbon from my stash.
To finish my card I used some Prima Flowers, attached with a aqua colored brad.

DS120

This is what I created

I made a little birdhouse, which is actualy a little giftbox! I made this with a template from a Dutch hobby shop, called Krea-Teja.

The patterned papers I used are by Tilda, and the pearls are made with a pink pearlmaker pen.
The birdie is stamped onto Kraft cardstock with Stampin Up Whisper White ink, and heat embossed with Seafoam White embossing powder by Ranger.

The "Home Sweet Home" stamp is made in the same way. I also used a hot pink ribbon from my stash!

I made a 5inch square card, this size I use most of the time when making square cards. The image I used is by CC-Design, I won this one at All That Scraps Challenge, and I am soo in love with her. Perfect for birthday cards!
Here is a close-up of my colored image.
She is cut out with a label die by Sizzix, and colored with my Copic Markers. I used the following to color her.
Skin: E000, E00, E02, R20
Hair: E50, E51, E53
Shirt: BG72, BG57, BG49
Gifts: Y35, Y38
I also used glossy accents on the confetti, but I am not sure if you can see it in the pictures.
The sentiment I used is by Whimsy stamps, it's my GO-TO birthday sentiment set, I love them!
Stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, and cut out with my Nestabilities circle die, and there you go!
I finished it with some pearls around it and some paper roses.
The papers I used are by My Minds Eye, The Sweetest Thing Bluebell collection.
I also used some ribbon and pins from my stash.

That was it for today, I hope you like it! Now hop over to Drunken Stampers and join us with your birthday cards!

Drunken Stampers #116 - Superheroes

Hi all!

How are you today? It is Saturday again, and this week it is time for the Bahama Mamas at Drunken Stampers to host a challenge! This week we are inspired by the movie The Avengers, so we would like to see some superheroes on your project!
DS116

Here is what I came up with.
Super Cute, isn't it! I rarely make boy-cards, but with this lovely Magnolia stamp I just had to!! Here is a close-up of my colored image.
My image is stamped with Memento Tuxedo black ink on digital coloring paper, and colored with my Copic Markers. I used the following markers to color Edwin.
Skin: E000, E00, E11, R20
Hair and boots: E71, E77, E79
Supermanoutfit: R27, R29, Y06, Y08 B18, B19
After coloring I cut him out with my detail scissors.
I cut a diamondshaped frame with my Nestabilities die and dry embossed some kraft cardstock. DP I used are by Basic Grey, PB&J collection.
I also used some gingham ribbon from my stash, and some big red rhinestones.
The stars are by Making Memories, they are for their tagmaker tool, which I used for the sentiment. I stapled the metal stars to my card, because I couldn't leave it blank. I just didn't like the blank area.
The sentiment I used is by Noor!Design, it says Hurray, another year older!

That was it for today, I hope you like it!

Please hop over to Drunken Stampers and join us with your Superhero!

Just keep swimming... - Drunken Stampers DT post

Hi all!!

I have some exciting news to share with you, I am officially Drunk!!! No, I haven't been drinking, but I am a DT-member of the Drunken Stampers! How awesome is that!! This week is my first post, and I am nervous!!! All the DT members have such amazing skills, their work is amazing!!
Anyway, this week we are inspired by the movie Finding Nemo, and I have seen that one about a 100 times! I just love that movie, and I know quite the whole script and what everyone says. In example, Dory, the blue/yellow fish is singing all the time: "Just keep swimming, Just keep swimming, Just keep swimming swimming swimming!! Happy thought are coming my way!!
Anyway, this weeks theme is Finding Nemo, so you can use anything with fish, or underwater creatures! This is what I created!
You see? Just keep swimming!! Gee, I am easily distracted with this one, I never ever watch a movie while crafting, but I watched Finding Nemo about THREE(!) times while creating this card... So it took me about 6 hours to create this card!!
Enough blabbing, let's just talk about the card!
The image is by Digital Delights, and can be found here. This little fish is colored with my Copic Markers, using YR04, YR02 and R20. I used C2 to make it a bit less bright. The shading is done with my B00, B000 and BG0000 marker, and the bubbles are done with Glossy Accents.
The papers I used are from my stash, from the time I used to scrapbook.
I used some different ribbons from my stash and a starfish. I also used a blue rhinestone in the centre of the starfish.
I also found a tiny seahorse while digging through my stash, so I added that too!
The sentiment I used is, except from the phrase from Finding Nemo, also from the AmyR Underwater Sentimentset.

That was it for today, I hope you like it! Just pop over to the Drunken Stampers blog and join us!
Cheers!

Hugs, Sandra
