Slinky Tart - Merry Christmas

Hi all!

Today I would like to share a project I made for Slinky Tart! This week was team B's turn to post, and since I am now managing team A and B, I also made a card. I am in need of Christmas cards, I decided to use my favorite Christmas image ever, and luckily, she is in the Slinky Tart shop!!

To create the shape of my card, I used a template from Dutch Doobadoo. The papers I used are from Little Yellow Bicycle, and I think these papers are ancient, lol. I have them in my stash for over 6 years now I think! I inked all edges with Distress Ink Walnut Stain.

Like I said earlier, I used my all time favorite Christmas image. This one is called Snowman CPR, and can be found here. I used my Copic Markers to color her up, and I used the following markers.
Skin: E000, E00, E21, E11, E13
Hair: C5, C7, 100
Eyes: E55, E57
Lips: R22
Coat: G40, G43, G46
Snowman: C00, C1
Nose: YR15, YR16
Hat and Scarf: R35, R46, R59
I used some Crystal Stickles on the furry edges of the coat and hat.

I used some Wild Orchid Crafts flowers, and some pine cones from my stash as an embellishment.

The sentiment I used is made with a die from Noor Design, and I just can't stop using this one!

This was it for today, please pop over to the Slinky Tart blog to see what the other girls made!

Golden Oldie project - 4 generations mini album

Hi all!

About 2 months ago, one of the designers from Kimya started a Golden Oldie challenge. She shared a tutorial of one of her mini albums, and challenged us to follow her tutorial and post our projects before the deadline. I ordered a little kit to get started, but I already knew my project couldn't join the challenge. The challenge ended about 3 weeks ago, but I made this album for my grandmother, who celebrated her 77th birthday last sunday. So there was no way I could have showed this earlier, because she or someone else in the family could have known what I was making her.
Anyway, now that my grandmother received her gift, I think it is time I show my project here as well!

The album is made from paperbags, binded together with some rope, and has cardstock to reinforce the binding.

The flowers on the binding are from Wild Orchid Crafts ans Joy Crafts.

The papers I used are all from the Collage Art stack from DCWV. All edges are inked with Distress Ink Walnut Stain.

The tiny tags I used are also from Kimya, but they were not in the kit. You can find them here.
I used some lace from my own stash, and added some twine from Kimya as well.

The heart die I used is from Memory box.

The heart tag was part of the lovely kit I bought.

The mesh behind the picture was also part of the kit.

The paperbags all have a punched edge, I used my Fiskars Threading Water border punch for them.

And this is the back of my album. The pearls I used in the album are from a Dutch store called Action.

Last but not least the tags that are inside the paper bags. Since my album is a 4 generations album, I made a tag for every generation.

This was it for today, I hope you all like it!

Art by Mi Ran - Sunny

Hi all!!

It has been a few weeks since I posted. Due to a huge heat wave in the Netherlands, I haven't been able to sit in my craft room, and I can tell you, I am suffering from withdrawal symptoms... Anyway, today is my turn to host the Art by Mi Ran blog, and I made a bright and colorful card for you all

Doesn't this one scream summer? I just love the colors! The papers I used are by Basic Grey, Soleil collection, and just perfect for bright colored cards! I inked all the edges with Distress Ink Vintage photo, which gives it a nice finished look.

The image I used is called Sunny, and I used my Copic Markers to color her up. I used the following markers
Skin: E00, E21, E11, E13
Hair: BV02, BV04, BV08
Hat and Skirt: RV63, RV66, RV69
Shirt: W00, W0, W2, W5
Sunflowers: Y32, Y35, Y38, YR27, E77, E79
Leaves: G43, G46
Background: C00, C0, C1, BG01, BG000, BG0000
I also used a white gel pen in the centers of the flowers.

I added a lot of extra flowers to my card for decoration, they are all by Wild Orchid Crafts.

This was it for today, I hope you all like it. Have a great day!
