The East Wind Challenge - Black, White and one other color

Hi all!

We just started a brand spanking new challenge over at The East Wind, and boy, this theme is my absolute fave! And no, it is not Anything goes haha, our theme for this challenge is Black, White and one other color!

 The papers I used are from Scrapberry, Elegy collection. These papers are just gorgeous, and perfect for this challenge theme. I inked all the edges with Distress Black Soot ink.

 The image I used is called Aurora "Spring Lady", and was the perfect image to color in Black, White and pops of red. I used my Copic Markers to color her, and I used the following.

Black and White: C00, C0, C1, C2, C3, C5, C7 and 100

Reds: R24, R46, R89

 The sentiment I used is from Little Darlings Rubber Stamps, and is stamped with Versafine Onyx black ink directly on to the designer paper. I added a bow from red ribbon from my stash, to make the red even pop out more.

The flowers I used are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

The East Wind - Summer Lovin'

I am so excited! Finally, I can tell you!!! I applied for the DT-call at The East Wind, and I MADE IT!!! I am sooooooooo happy! Today is the start of a new challenge, and our theme is Summer Lovin' ~Summer activities, summer places, summer romance... This is your chance to win 3 images from The East Wind!

 I used very bright papers, perfect for a summer romance card! The papers are from Echo Park, Fine and Dandy collection. I inked all the edges with Distress Ink Vintage Photo.

I used my Copic Markers to color this lovely girl up, I used the following markers.
Skin: E000, E00, E21, E11, E13
Hair: E35, E37, E47
Dress: Y32, Y35, Y38, and a white gel pen to add the polka dots.
Flower wrap: B23, B24, B28
Flowers: R83, R85, Y35, Y38, R46, R59
Leaves: G21, G28

All the flowers I used are from Wild Orchid Crafts. The sentiment I used is from the Friendship set from Little Darlings Rubber Stamps.

CreaMiep - Hugs and Kisses

Hallo allemaal!

Vandaag is het mijn beurt om weer wat te laten zien op het CreaMiep blog.

Today is my turn to host the CreaMiep blog.

Stiekem ben ik heel erg toe aan voorjaar. Ik merk het aan alles! Daarom besloot ik mezelf een plezier te doen, en een project in vrolijke kleuren te maken.

I am really longing for spring, and that is why I decided to do myself a favor. I made a card in happy, springy colors!

 Op het eerste oog lijkt het een gewone kaart, maar schijn bedriegt! Ik heb namelijk de enveloppe mal van Dutch Doobadoo gebruikt, en deze lekker versierd.

At first sight this looks like a normal card, but it isn't! I used an envelope template from Dutch Doobadoo

Hier kun je dat wat beter zien! Het kraft papier is van Joy, en het designpapier komt uit een blokje van My Minds Eye.

The kraft paper I used is from JoyCrafts, and the designer papers are from My Minds Eye. I love the bright colors in this paperpad.

 De stempel die ik heb gebruikt heet Breeze. Ze is van Saturated Canary. Ik heb met Memento inkt gestempeld op DCP papier en daarna gekleurd met mijn Copic Markers.

The image I used is called Breeze by Saturated Canary. I stamped her with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink on DCP paper, and colored her with my Copic Markers. I used the following colors.

Skin: E000, E00, E21, E13 and R20 for blush.

Hair: Y21, Y23, Y26, Y28

Dress: BG72, BG75, BG78, R81, R83, R85, R89

 De tekst die ik heb gebruikt komt uit een set van Noor!Design, en ik heb dezelfde Memento inkt gebruikt om te stempelen.

The sentiment is from a set from Noor!Design, and is also stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Als laatste nog een stukje kant om mijn kaart af te werken. Als finishing touch vind ik het ook altijd mooi om alle randjes van mijn papier te inkten, dat heb ik met Distress Ink gedaan.

To finish off my cards I used some lace and twine, with a little charm. I also inked the edges of all my papers with Distress Ink, it gives a nice finished edge.

Gisteren was het mijn beurt om wat te laten zien voor Copic Marker Benelux, en daarom laat ik het vandaag aan jullie zien.

Ik zag op de club van Tiets de nieuwe uitdaging staan en de verplichte kleurtjes, en die zijn dus helemaal mijn ding! 

 Het papier wat ik voor mijn kaartje heb gebruikt is van BoBunny, Primrose. Ik heb alle randjes weer beïnkt met Distress Ink Vintage Photo.

De stempel die ik heb gebruikt is van Little Darlings, ze heet Casey. Ik heb de volgende Copic Markers gebruikt.

Huid: E000, E00, E21, E13 en R20 voor de wangen

Haar: E53, E55, E57

Lippen: RV23, RV25

Shirt: G82, G21, G85 

Om mijn kaartje helemaal af te maken, heb ik wat bloemen van Wild Orchid Crafts gebruikt, en een roze gestippeld lintje.

Dit was het weer voor vandaag, ik hoop dat ik jullie weer heb kunnen inspireren!

Art by Mi Ran - 1 year celebration!!

Welcome to the 1 year anniversary celebration at Art by Mi Ran! 

As you know, we, here at Art by Mi Ran team are so excited to be celebrating Mi Ran's Art by Mi Ran first birthday!! So amazing that just 1 year ago Mi Ran began sharing her awesome images with us!! 

With so many beautiful ones it's hard for a gal to pick a favorite right?

So instead of having the team have to struggle with picking ONE of their favorites' we decided to have a little bit of  fun and share with you our very first Art by Miran's image we used for our first DT post!! We also will be sharing a new project using the very same image !! 

Here is my very first Art by Mi Ran DT project

The image I used is called Chef Charlotte, and she can be found here. 

And here is my new project using the same image.

 I created the shape of this card using a Dutch Doobadoo template, which are my favorite to create shaped cards. 

The paper I used for my card is by Basic Grey, Olivia collection. All edges are inked with Distress Ink Walnut Stain

 I used my Copic Markers again to color Chef Charlotte, and I used the following.

Skin: E000, E00, E11, E13 and R20 for blush

Hair: E23, E25, E27, E29

Eyes, shoes, and bowl: YG93, YG95, YG97

Hat and outfit: B91, B93, B95, B97, B99

Apron, bow and food: RV21, RV23. RV25, RV29

I used my Nestabilities Labels Four die to cut out the image

 The heart is made with a die from Noor Design, and so is the borders behind the blue papers.

 All flowers I used are by Wild Orchid Crafts

 I made a little tag to go inside the main panel

The sentiment is stamped with Memento Grey Flannel ink. The sentiment is from Little Darlings Rubber Stamps

Copic Marker Benelux - Happy Birthday!

Hallo allemaal,

Het was gisteren mijn beurt om wat te laten zien op het Copic Marker Benelux blog.

Ik weet niet hoe het bij jullie zit, maar ik heb de afgelopen tijd zo ontzettend veel kerstkaarten gemaakt, dat ik ze niet meer kan zien. 

Nou ja, zien is niet helemaal waar, maar ik moet er niet aan denken om er nog meer te maken.

Ik verlang naar het voorjaar, dus ik heb vandaag een vrolijke, pastelkleurige kaart om met jullie te delen.

 Ik heb een paperpad van Teresa Collins gebruikt, wat een prachtige kleurtjes zitten hierin zeg! Daarnaast heb ik diverse stansjes gebruikt om mijn kaart te versieren

 De stempel die ik heb gebruikt is van Little Darlings Rubber Stamps, en deze dame heet Yuki.

Ik heb natuurlijk mijn Copic Markers gebruikt om haar te kleuren, en wel de volgende

Huid: E000, E00, E11, E13 en E93 voor de wangetjes en lippen

Haar en ogen: E53, E55, E57

Jurk: RV91, RV93, RV95, RV99, W000, W0, W2, W5

De bloemetjes die ik heb gebruikt zijn van Wild Orchid Crafts.

Little Darlings Rubber Stamps GDT - Casey

Hi all!!

Today is my second day as a Guest Designer for Little Darlings Rubber Stamps, and I am happy to share my project with you!

For this project I altered the lid of a square box. I wrapped some lace and ribbon around it, but I forgot to take a picture of it.. :(
Anyway, the papers I used for my project are from Marianne Design. I inked all edges with Distress Ink Vintage Photo.

 The image I used for this gift box is called Casey, and you can find her here. I used my trusted Copic Markers again to color her, and I used the following.
Skin: E000, E00, E11, E13 and E93 for blush.
Hair: E23. E25. E27. E29
Lips: R85, R89
Shirt: R83, R85, R89
Hairband: BG13, BG15

Little Darlings Rubber Stamps GDT -

Hi all!!

I am so excited today,because tioday is the first day as a GDT for Little Darlings Rubber Stamps! This is really a dream come true!!

 I decided to make a 5.5 inch square card. The paper I used is from My Minds Eye, Kate & Co collection. All edges are inked with Distress Ink Vintage Photo.

The image I used is called Criss Cross Applesauce, and she can be found here. I used my Copic Markers to color here, and I used the following.
Skin: E000, E00, E11, E13 and E93 for blush.
Hair: E71, E74, E77, E79
Outfit: Y21, Y23, Y26, Y28, RV13, RV14, RV25, BG53, BG57
I used my Nestabilities Circle dies to cut out the image, and matted it with a scalloped circle.

All flowers I used are by Wild Orchid Crafts, and I am totally addicted to their flowers (That is a confession, I need a 12-step plan)
