RIBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE # 229 - USE AN EMBOSSING FOLDER

Hi all!!

It is Sunday, you know what that means! Time for a new challenge at Robyn's Fetish! This week we want to see EMBOSSING FOLDERS, so get them out and play with them!!! Our sponsor for this challenge is Whoopsi Daisy, and they are offering 3 image sheets of the winner's choice. Just click on the banner below to visit the shop!

Whoopsi Daisy also generously provided some images to the DT to work with, and this is what I created.

I used one of my Cuttlebug floral embossing folders, and I decided to use my Copic Markers to color the embossed part. The picture below shows it a little better,

Here's a close-up of my colored image.
I used an image from sheet #414, which can be found here. I used my Copic Markers again to color the image, and I used the following
Skin: E00. E11, E13
Hair: E23, E25, E27, E29
Dress: RV63, RV66, RV69
Flowers: Y35, Y38

This was it for today, I hope you all like it. Please pop over to Robyn's Fetish and join us!

Love to Create Challenge - Flowers and Stitching

Hi all!

It is Monday again, you know what that means? Time for a brand new challenge at Love to Create! Our theme this week is Flowers and Stitching, which I really love!
We also have great sponsors this week, A Day for Daisies! They are offering a $12 gift certificate. Flourishes with a bling are offering a $10 gift certificate. Isn't that generous? Just click on the banners below to take a look at their shops.
A Day for Daisies

Flourish with a Bling

A Day for Daisies also generously provided some images to the DT to work with, and this is what I created.

The papers I used for my card are by Prima Marketing, Melody collection. The ribbon and the pearls are both from my stash, and I purposely used blue, because I wanted to tie in the blue from the bottles.
The image I used is sponsored by A Day for Daisies, and is called Flowers and Bottles. You can find the image here. I used my Copic Markers again to color the image, and I used the following.
Bottles: BG000, BG10, BG11
Flowers: RV21, RV23, RV25, RV29
Centers: YR20, YR27
Leaves and Stems: G43, G46
Background: Y000, Y00
Here's the close-up of the stitching. Normally I would have used my sewing machine, but that thing is making a lot of noise. My daughter was finally asleep after a long day, and I didn;t want to wake her up, so I decided to stitch by hand. It takes a little longer, but it will work just as fine!

Well, this was it for today, I hope you all like it! Please pop over to Love to Create and join us!

ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE #228 - ANYTHING GOES

Hi all!

Time for a brand new challenge at Robyn's Fetish! We have the easiest one for you ANYTHING GOES! And no, I didn't create a Christmas card for it! :P
Our sponsor for this challenge is Robyn's Fetish, and Robyn is offering 3 images of the winner's choice! Isn't that generous? Just click on the banner below to go to the shop!

Robyn's Fetish also generously provided some images to us DT girls to work woth, and this is what I created

I made a 5,5 inch square card. The papers I used are by Teresa Collins, and I got them for free with a magazine.
I used two images for this card, Sunflower 1 and Sunflower 2. Sunflower 1 can be found here, and Sunflower 2 can be found here. I used my Copic Markers again to color the sunflowers, and I used the following markers:
Sunflower:Y15, Y35, Y38
Center: E23, E27
Leaves and Stem: G40, G43, G46.
The lower sunflower has been fussycut, and popped up with foam tape.
The ribbon and lace are both from my stash, and even though the ribbon doesn't have the same color as the paper I think it fits perfectly.
The chipboard piece with the sentiment was also included with the magazine.

This was it for today, and I hope you like it. Please pop over to Robyn's Fetish and join us!
