Art by Mi Ran - Monochromatic (ok, with one other color...)

Hi all!

Today is my turn to host the Art by Mi Ran blog, and our monthly theme for October is Fall colors.
I thought I'd challenge myself a bit and went monochromatic. but I ended up using 1 additional color. Just couldn't help myself...

The papers I used for my card are from Basic Grey, Little black dress collection. I also created a coloring video about coloring this sweetie up, you can find it at the bottom of this post.

 The image I used is called Lady Papillon, and she can be found here. I used my Copic Markers to color her, and I used E40, E41, E43, E47 and E49 for the monochromatic coloring. I added R81, R83 and R85 for the hair piece and butterfly.

The flowers I used are from Wild Orchid Crafts. The ribbon and hat pins are from my stash.

And now the most exciting part (for me then, LOL)...... The coloring videos!!!

I chose a Halloween image, but I turned it into a fall card by using other papers than Halloween, and a lovely sentiment. And voila, an Autumn colored card!

 The image I used is called Bearly a Pumpkin, and can be found here. I used my Copic Markers again to color the image, and I used the following colors.
Bear: E23, E25, E27
Leaves: G40, G43, G46
Pumpkin: YR20, YR23, YR27
Carved face: W5, W7

 The pumpkin is made with a Cuttlebug die, which I have had in my stash for ages! Just waiting for the perfect moment to use it, which I think is now!

The paper I used is a scrap from Rusty Pickle. The orange ribbon is a gift, and the sentiment is from a set by AmyR.

Dragons Lair Challenge - Anything goes

Hi all!

Welcome all to a new challenge at Dragons Lair Design! This week we have an easy peasy theme, it's Anything Goes! And you do want to join, because you get a chance to win a £5 gift voucher to the Dragons Lair shop! Isn't that great?

Here is what I came up with.

 I was in the Christmas mood when I created this card, you can see right? And we all need Christmas cards, so this was good! The papers I used for my card are by Carte Bella.

 The image I used is called Penny with Presents, and of course I used my Copic Markers for it. I used the following.

Penny: G02, G05, G07

Background: BG10, BG11, BG13

Frame: R46, R56, R59

Presents: G02, G05, G07, BG10, BG11, BG13, R46, R56, R59, E51, E53

The sentiment I used is from a set from AmyR. The red ribbon is a gift from a friend and the blue pearls were from Action.
