Hi all!!
It is already the first of November, that means we have a new Anything Goes challenge at Digi Haven! And we have a surprise for you, we will have a prize for you, if you are a winner!!
This times sponsor is Beccy Muir, you can find her blog here! She has some beautiful digis for sale, but she also provides freebies!! Isn't that great?
The prize for this challenge is 3 digi's from her store!
This is what I created.
This is not a Beccy image, again I used a digi from Elisabeth Dulembe, which you can find here. I made another christmas card, since I need these for the next month! I forgot to take a close-up picture, but this mouse in christmas stocking is colored with my Copic Markers again, and I used the following:
Reds R27, R29
Greens: YG03, YG06, YG09
Mouse: E33, E35
The sentiment is a clear stamp from the Euroshop, stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on some brown cardstock.
The papers I used is the Christmas Eve Chowder collection by Jillibean soup. I love how the penguins seem to look over the dessinpaper!!The ribbon I used is from my stash!
This is it for now, there will be another blogpost later today.
Hop over to Digi Haven and join us! All you have to do is use a freebie that is free during our challenge, a month!
Hugs,
Sandra

Halloween at Digi Haven!
Boo!Wait, did I scare you? I it almost halloween, so this fortnight it is pretty easy to guess our challenge theme at Digi Haven right?
Halloween!!!!
All you have to do is create a card with a FREE halloween digi, easypeasy right? Just remember the digi has to be free for at least the during of the challenge.
This is what I created.
I made a card with a witch, complete with a black wrath on her nose! You can find this brewing witch here! Here's a little close up!
She is colored with my Copics again, it took me about 3 hours to color, and actually I am not satisfied yet! Can't say what is bothering me, but there sure is something!
These are the colors I used!
Skin: E0000, E000, E00, E11
Hair and apron: BV31, BV34, BV17
Hat and dress: C5, C7 and 100
Table: E33, E35
Walls: E21, E31, E33
Moon: Y35, Y15, Y38
Nightsky: B23, B24, B18, B29
Others: C1, C3, E37, YG63, YG67
That are a lot of Copic, don't ya think?
The papers I used are Basic Grey, Eerie Collection, and so are the brads.
All edges are inked with my Distress Ink Black Soot.
The ribbon I used is by Joy!Crafts, and so is the banner flags I used. The sentiment on the banner is handwritten with a white gel pen.
That was it for today, come and join us at Digi Haven!

Harvest at Digi Haven
Hi all!
Did you enjoy our new fortnight challenge at Digi Haven? Well I did, I enjoyed each and every entrance!! You all have done a great job, and great freebie findings! Because that is what Digi Haven is all about, FREEBIES!! Don't you just love them?
Well I do, and it is time for our new challenge, and this is what I came up with.
You can already guess the theme with my card, Harvest!
I used a cornucopia image by Elisabeth Dulemba, you can find it here.
Here is a close-up!
This time, I didn't use Copics to color, shocking huh? I used regular pencils to color, so no fancy blending ow whatsoever! Eventhough I had fun coloring all the little parts of it. It is printed on white DCP paper, and I used my Distress Ink Walnut Stain to make the paper brown. I love how it turned out.
The paper I used is from my stash, got it at the Euroshop, just cheap paper, but really pretty! The buttons are also from my stash, and in stead of sewing them to my card I just used glue dots.
The ribbon and the leafs are also from my stash, they were a gift from a friend.
Well that is is for now, go searching for some harvest freebies, or just choose the same I did, and create and join us at Digi Haven!
Hugs, Sandra

Oh crab, I forgot...
Hi all!
There are some changes going on at Digi Haven! This is the introduction of our new challenge schedule! Every month has a month long Anything Goes challenge, and a forthnight regular challenge.
So that means, today is the start of September Anything Goes Challenge, and this is my card.
I used another one of Elisabeth O Dulemba´s gorgeous digi´s, you can find this one here!
He is fun, and when I saw him, I thought this was the perfect sentiment!
I did something different with my coloring this time, here´s a close-up!
First I printed this digi, and cut it with my Nestabilities Labels 4 die. I left my diecut in the die, and grabbed my Distress ink pad.
I started with the sand, and used Antique Linen, Vintage Photo and Tea Dye.I just spunged it on my paper. Then I used Tumbled Glass for the water, and that was done!
Then I used some of my Copic Markers to color the rest of the image.
I used R02 and R05 for the crab, C1 and C3 for the rocks, and YG23 and YG06 for the seaweed.
The sentiment I made myself on the computer and cut it woth banner ends. Spunged it with a bit of Tea Dye Distress Ink and popped it up on foamtape.
The dessinpaper I used is by My Minds Eye, and I also used 3 brads from my stash.
Well, that is it for now, go search on the internet for free digi's, and remember, they have to be free during at least the whole month, or a forever freebie! Create a nice project with it and share it with us on the Digi Haven Blog!!
See you there!
This card is entering the following challenge:
Paper Crafting Journey - Anything goes
Perfect Sentiments Challenge - Anything goes with a sentiment

A, Bee, C
Hi girls!
It's friday again, that means another challenge over at Digi Haven! This weeks challenge is Back to School!
I used one of the many digi's by Elisabeth Dulemba, I totally love them! You can find this one here.
Isn't he adorable? Here's a closer look at him.
He is colored with my Copics, used the following colors
Y15, Y17, Y71 and Y77 for the bee.
YG11, YG03 and YG06 and R59 for the book.
I am not sure if you can see, but I can assure you, I used a lot of white glitter on his wings
I didn't use a sentiment in this one, since there is so much going on on this card. I used the Oxford DP by Basic Grey, full of school stuff, pencils, books etc., perfectly for this card. The Oxford collection also contains brads, a lot of them!! LOL, I used several different ones, glazed brads and jumbo and mini brads. I like buying a whole collection from basic grey, since everything matches with colors and so.
I also used a Martha Stewart punch and some ribbon from my stash.
SO for now, hop over to the Digi Haven Blog, see the fab creations from the other DTgirls and join us with a freebie digi stamp!!
Hugs, Sandra

It's a dogs world
Hi all!
Here I am again from a sunny and hot Holland! At last, summer has arrived, but only for a short time... There will be rain and thunder in the afternoon, so I am enjoying it every spare minute I have.
The following project is for the new challenge over at Digi Haven, it's a dogs world.
As you all can see, this is not just a card! It is made from an envelope. I made a tutorial about this project, still have to finish everything off, and then I will post it on my blog.
My dear friend Krista also made this project, hop over to her blog to see her version!
She will also be posting the tutorial we made together!
Personally I don't own a dog, but I really love them. Just because of my allergies I can't have one...
Anyway, this cute little doggie is called Bernie, you can find him here!
He is colored with my copics, not a large amount this time!
Fur: E71 and E77
Spots: C1 and colorless blender
Tongue: R20 and R22
Nose: 100, C7 and C5
These are all the tags in this project. The sentiments I made myself by googling on quotes about dogs.
Will be posting the tutorial asap, so come back later and be sure to use it!
That's it for today, head over to the Digi Haven blog and join us! Just make sure you use free digi's and have fun!
Hugs, Sandra

Sending wishes and fairy kisses
Hi everyone!
We have a new challenge over at Digi Haven! This weeks challenge is "Fanciful Fairy", and this is what I created!
I used a free digi by Elisabeth Dulemba, I love love love her drawings!
You can find her here!
This is a close-up of my colored fairy
I used my Copics again to color her, with the following colors:
Skin: E0000, E00, E11 and R20 for lips and blush
Hair: E31, E33 and E35
Dress: V000, V12, V15 and V17
Wings: YR00 and YR02
As you all can see I didn't use any dessinpaper, just cardstock. I colored this sweet girl, and had no idea what to do with it. I actually thought about throwing her away and to start over again.
While I was thinking, I chatted with my friend and also DT-er at Digi Haven Krista, she challenged me to do make the card, but to use no DP at all, and this is the result! Actually quite happy with it, so thank you Krista!
The sentiment is also a freebie, but really have no idea where it's from, sorry. If anyone does know, please contact me, so I can give credit!
I didn't use a whole lot of embellishment. Just a pearlmaker pen and a MS-punch. I also used an Cuttlebug embossingfolder. I spunged all the edges with Distress Ink Dusty Concord, which turned out to be the perfect shade of purple!
So thats it for today, hop over to Digi Haven blog and join us with the fanciful fairy challenge!
Thanks for visiting, and please leave a comment!
This card is entering the following challenge:
Southern Girls - Angels and Fantasy
Hugs, Sandra
