Hi all!

Yesterday we had a birthday party from our friend, and couldn't just give her nothing. That's why I made her a birthdaycard!

This is the card, she really liked it! I used my new CC-design stamp, cupcake Emma, perfect for a birthday card!
Here's a close up of her!

I used my Copic Markers to color her, but since I paper-piece the cake wrapping and the bow in her hair, I didn't use a whole lot of colors.
Skin: E0000. E00, E11 and R20 for blush.
Hair and shoes: E31, E33 and E35
Dress: V12, V15 and V17
Cake topping: V12, V15 and V17, YG91 and YG95
I didn't want to leave the paper pieced objects as it is, so I used my W3 and W1 to add some shading.

The sentiment I used is by Nicole Verkooijen, traced the esge with my V15 Copic and add some pearls to it, which I made with my pearlmaker pen.

The DP I used is by Basic Grey, Plumeria. I love the orange and pink in it! Used a ribbon tied in a bow as an embellishment, and some different paper flowers.
I matted the cardfront on some black cardstock and did that with the large orange piece too.

Card or scrap?

Hi all!

As some of you might know, I used to scrapbook a lot, but now I only make cards. But sometimes, I just can't resist it! So why not combine it?
That's exactly what I did here, made a card with a picture of our wedding!

I am very happy with the result! I created this card to thank a family, who gave us a present for our wedding. I haven't had the chance to thanks them personally, that's why I created this card.

I used several different flowers, matching the colors of the papers I used.
They are from 2 different paperpads, both My Minds Eye.

The sentiment is the Dutch word for thank you.
Hope the family likes it!'

It's a dogs world

Hi all!

Here I am again from a sunny and hot Holland! At last, summer has arrived, but only for a short time... There will be rain and thunder in the afternoon, so I am enjoying it every spare minute I have.
The following project is for the new challenge over at Digi Haven, it's a dogs world.

As you all can see, this is not just a card! It is made from an envelope. I made a tutorial about this project, still have to finish everything off, and then I will post it on my blog.
My dear friend Krista also made this project, hop over to her blog to see her version!
She will also be posting the tutorial we made together!

Personally I don't own a dog, but I really love them. Just because of my allergies I can't have one...
Anyway, this cute little doggie is called Bernie, you can find him here!
He is colored with my copics, not a large amount this time!
Fur: E71 and E77
Spots: C1 and colorless blender
Tongue: R20 and R22
Nose: 100, C7 and C5

These are all the tags in this project. The sentiments I made myself by googling on quotes about dogs.

Dropping you a line

Hi all!

It's time for another challenge at Aud Sentiments!
This fortnights theme is Tag it! There have to be a tag WITH sentiment on your card.
This is what I created

This challenge is sponsored by Tickled Pink. The designer of these fabulous digi's was so generous to give all the DT-girls a fab digi!
This cute girl is called August, isn't she lovely?

I used my beloved Copic Markers to color her, and couldn't resist giving her some colorful clothes! These are the markers I've used
Skin: E0000, E00, E11 and R20 for blush and lips
Hair: E71 and E77, R46 and R59 for the braid
Clothes: R46, R37 and R59, BG05 and BG09, YG91, Y28 and YG95.
Headphones: C5 and C7
Shading: C1 and C3

I cut my image out with a circles nestabilities and matted is with a scalloped nestabilities.
The DP I used is by Prima Marketing, but can't remember the name of the collection, sorry.

To finish everything of I used 3 different flowers from my stash and several different brads.

The sentiment I used os from the AmyR underwater sentiment set, specially made for beachthemed cards, but it suits really well here don't you think?

Sending wishes and fairy kisses

Hi everyone!

We have a new challenge over at Digi Haven! This weeks challenge is "Fanciful Fairy", and this is what I created!

I used a free digi by Elisabeth Dulemba, I love love love her drawings!

This is a close-up of my colored fairy

I used my Copics again to color her, with the following colors:
Skin: E0000, E00, E11 and R20 for lips and blush
Hair: E31, E33 and E35
Dress: V000, V12, V15 and V17
Wings: YR00 and YR02

As you all can see I didn't use any dessinpaper, just cardstock. I colored this sweet girl, and had no idea what to do with it. I actually thought about throwing her away and to start over again.
While I was thinking, I chatted with my friend and also DT-er at Digi Haven Krista, she challenged me to do make the card, but to use no DP at all, and this is the result! Actually quite happy with it, so thank you Krista!

The sentiment is also a freebie, but really have no idea where it's from, sorry. If anyone does know, please contact me, so I can give credit!
I didn't use a whole lot of embellishment. Just a pearlmaker pen and a MS-punch. I also used an Cuttlebug embossingfolder. I spunged all the edges with Distress Ink Dusty Concord, which turned out to be the perfect shade of purple!

I sea it's your birthday

First of all I would like to thank everyone who joined the Fun in the sun Blog Hop!
I love to read all your comments!
I also want to welcome all my new followers!
Anywho, I have been busy crafting for a friends birthday yesterday, and this is how it turned out

I used several different CC-Designstamps, with go really good together with the AmyR Underwater Sentiment Set!

I colored this cute girl with my Copic Markers, I used the following colors
Skin: E0000, E00, E11 and R20
Hair: E71 and E77
Mermaid-outfit: BG05, BG07 and BG09
Pearls: RV04 and RV06
Seaweed: YG11, YG03 and YG06
Sand: E31, E33, E35 and E37
Water (hard to see, but actually did color it this time!): BG11, BG10 and BG0000
Here are some pictures of the fish.

Colored with the same colors as the main image, and of course added some stickles!

The DP I used is by My Minds Eye, I barely have a full sheet left, I really, really love it!!
I used a Nestabilities Labels One die to cut the main image out, and used a Martha Stewart punch on the purple DP. Also added some stickles to the pearls and the waterbubble.

This is my DT card for Digi Haven

I used a digi called Cactus Dance, Cinco de Mayo 2010, you can find this gorgeous cactus here.

I colored her with my Copic Markers, I used the following
YG63 and YG67 for the swinging cactus
Y15, Y17, R83 and R85 for her dress
YG91 and YG95 for the little cactus
E31, E43 and E33 for the sand

I used some DP by Basic Grey, Kissing Booth, a jumbo epoxybrad from my stash, and a flower and a rose, also from my stash.
The sentiment is by Nicole Verkooijen.

Aud Sentiments #58

Hi everybody!

Today I would like to show you my DT card for the challenge at Aud Sentiments.
This weeks challenge is to have the word "friend"in your sentiment.

This is what I came up with

I used the Bee Happy image, and this time it wasn't colored with my Copics, shocking, isn't it?
I printed this digi, and started coloring, and the ink immediately began to smear.. So I took regular pencils and colored them, no shading or blending or whatsoever. In the end, I am quite happy with it. Here is a little close-up

As you can see I made an easelcard, but it is a real small one. Usually my square cards are 13,5cm, but this one is only 10 cm.
I didn't use any dessinpaper, just some pink and kraft cardstock and an embossingfolder.
Added some gems to it, and 2 roses to fill up the empty  spots on the bottom and that's it!
I cut my sentiment with a Nestabilities Labels 4 die in 2 different sizes and drew the middle one myself.

Live every moment

Hi all!

Right now, I am doing a happy dance!! I just received an email by All that Scraps, that I won one of their brand new, July released stamps, and I am really happy!
But that's not what I wanted to share with you, this is why I made this blogpost!

I made a double zigzag card yesterday, and when I started I wasn't sure what to think about it, but I am happy with the way it turned out. Actually this isn't my style at all, it's a bit vintage. I like brighter colors better, but it's oke!

This is the inside, when the lockerband is slide off.
Under my lovely Magnolia image is a sentiment by Penny Black.

This is one of my favorite sentimentstamps, don't you just love it?
I used a band to close this card, otherwise it keeps popping up.

This is a sentiment by AmyR Underwater Sentiments set.
On the front I arranged some flowers, I love the way it turned out.

They are Prima flowers from my stash, with some Distress ink on them.\

The DP isn't really from a brand, I picked it up in a shop called Euroland, a sort of dollarstore.
I also used my butterfly punch and a pearlmaker pen to create some borders.
Tilda is of course colored woth my Copic Markers,
Skin: E0000, E00, E11 and R20 for blush
Hair: E31, E33, E35.
Dress: RV10 and RV13, G21 and G94

First Design for Digi Haven DT!

Yeah, that's right, Digi Haven DT!
Last Saturday I was added to wonderful DT of Digi Haven!
There will be a weekly challenge, starting on friday up to thursday.
This weeks theme is Christmas in July, this is what I came up with

Of course I colored with my Copic Markers, I used the following colors
Elephant: C1, C3, C5 and C7
Tree: YG63 and YG67, R46, R37 and R59, Y15 and Y17.
Treepot: C5 and C7
Mouse: W1 and W3
Pearlstring: R59
Shading: W3, W1 and colorless blender

The sentiment is cut with my new machine, Slice with the Mistletoe cartridge. I just have my Slice 1 week, and I already love it, LOL
