Jingle Bells

Hi all!!

It is already the first of November, that means we have a new Anything Goes challenge at Digi Haven! And we have a surprise for you, we will have a prize for you, if you are a winner!!
This times sponsor is Beccy Muir, you can find her blog here! She has some beautiful digis for sale, but she also provides freebies!! Isn't that great?
The prize for this challenge is 3 digi's from her store!

This is what I created.
This is not a Beccy image, again I used a digi from Elisabeth Dulembe, which you can find here. I made another christmas card, since I need these for the next month!  I forgot to take a close-up picture, but this mouse in christmas stocking is colored with my Copic Markers again, and I used the following:
Reds R27, R29
Greens: YG03, YG06, YG09
Mouse: E33, E35
The sentiment is a clear stamp from the Euroshop, stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on some brown cardstock.
The papers I used is the Christmas Eve Chowder collection by Jillibean soup. I love how the penguins seem to look over the dessinpaper!!The ribbon I used is from my stash!

This is it for now, there will be another blogpost later today.
Hop over to Digi Haven and join us! All you have to do is use a freebie that is free during our challenge, a month!

Hugs, Sandra

You are spooktacular!

Hi all!

I know, I know... My Red Carpet Studio Challengepost is a day too late, but I had a good reason!! Yesterday was the ABC-ransom bloghop, and not to get things mixed up, I was allowed to do this post a day later!

This week we are sponsored by Fresh Brewed Design

They are offering 3 digi's of the winners choice, isnt't that great?

This weeks theme is pumpkins or halloween and here is what I created!
I made a witch hat, pretty halloween right?
I used a Magnolia image and she is colored with my copics again. I used the following markers:
Skin: E0000, E000, E00, E11 and R20 for blush
Hair: E35, E37 and E28
Dress: C5, C7 and 100.
Purple: V15, V17

I didn't use any dessinpaper, but I used some stickers from the Basic Grey Eerie collection. The hat was made from black cardstock. The ribbon and the buckle are from my stash.
The sentiment is a freebie, and I searched all over the internet and I can't find it anymore, so I am not able to link back. If you know who designed it, tell me, do I can give credit!!

That was it for today, I hope you liked it! Hop over to the Red Carpet Studio Challenge Blog and join us!

Hugs, Sandra

ABC Ransom Blog Hop

Welcome to the ABC Ransom Blog Hop,
hosted by Red Carpet Studio!

If you've come fromTara's blog, you're in the right place.

The Red Carpet Studio designers thought it would be fun to host a mystery blog hop while showcasing projects that can be made using all those leftover letters in your stash - hence where the "ransom" comes in. Ransom notes play a huge role in mystery/suspense films, and are often created out of random letters cut from magazines, newspapers, etc. in order to disguise handwriting.

While we won't be doing any kidnapping or holding anybody ransom today - we do have some creative projects to share with you!

For my project using leftover letters in my stash, I created...

I have tons and tons of leftover letters, from the time I used to scrapbook, and those X'es never finish... There are only a few Dutch words including an X, like ex or sax (saxophone) and both weren't the thing I was scrapping about.
But then, I had a lightbulb, X is from X-mas!!! Not a Dutch word, but everybody knows what this means, and since Christmas is coming up soon it was perfect!
The X is a chipboard letter and I used some Papermania papers to cover it up. The edges are inked with Distress Ink Walnut Stain.
I used an imaga by Magnolia, and I forgot to make a close-up picture. She is colored with my Copic Markers and I used the following.
Skin: E0000, E000, E00, E11, R20
Hair: E35, E37, E29
Clothes: W3, W5, W7, R27, R29, W00, W0, W1.
These are leftover letters from 3 different thickersets, but they really match well together!
I also used some pearls from my stash and some twine.
Last but not least I arranged a typical "Sandra" flowerbouquet, totally my style, you can find it back on a lot of my projects.

We're also holding some blog candy ransom! However, the blog candy is hidden, and only certain stops of the hop are hiding it. The only way you can win is if you comment on those blogs! Now, we're not going to tell you whose blogs those are (that would be too easy) but we will tell you what the prizes are!

There will be three winners. Please make sure to leave your contact information when commenting so we can contact you if you win. You have until next Saturday, November 3rd, to hop and comment. Winners will be announced with the start of our next layout challenge on Sunday November 4th at Red Carpet Studio.

And don't forget to check out this week's challenge at Red Carpet Studio! Our challenge this week is inspired by "It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" and the challenge is to create any fall or Halloween card.

Your next stop is Georgie's blog.

P.S. My letters are...

E

If you can put all the letters together from each stop of the hop (they're in order), you have a chance to win a mystery prize! Once you've figured out our hidden message, email it to redcarpetstudiochallenge@gmail.com. The mystery prize winner will be announced with the other winners on Sunday November 4th. HINT: The message is a clue as to what our next layout challenge will be. :)

Happy Hopping!
