Art by Mi Ran - You make me smile

Hi all!

I have an extra project to share with you all over at the Art by Mi Ran blog, so I am sharing all the details over here as well.

To create the shape of my card, I used a template from Dutch Doobadoo.
The papers I used are from Bo Bunny, Prairie Chic collection. I inked the edges of all of my papers with Distress Ink Vintage Photo.

The image I used is called Sweet Sally, and I used my Copic Markers to color her.
Skin: E000, E00, E21, E11, E13
Hair: E71, E74, E77, E79
Blue: BG53, BG57, BG49
Green: YG23, YG25
Pink: R81, R83, R85

The flowers I used are from Wild Orchid Crafts. I cut a laser cut doily into pieces and tucked it behind the papers.

The sentiment I used is from Craft Emotions. I used Versafine Onyx Black ink to stamp it.

This was it for today, I hope you like it!

Art by Mi Ran - Life is better...

Hi all!

Today I am sharing my new card for Art by Mi Ran. I used one of the older images, because there are just too much to choose from!
I decided to make a summer themed card, as I can't wait for the summer to start!

The papers I used are from a paper pad from Fancy Pants, Beach Babe collection, and I just loved the soft colors. I didn't even ink the papers like I usually do.

The image I used is called Parfait Pam, and I used the following Copic Markers to color her.
Skin:E000, E00, E21, E11, E13
Hair: E74, E77, E79
Eyes: B00, B01
Top: Y000, Y00, Y02
Skirt and Bow: RV23, RV25, RV29
I used Glossy Accents on the glass, but it is hard to capture that on camera.

The flowers I used are from Wild Orchid Crafts. The ribbon is from Kimya, and the pearl trim is from my stash. The sentiment I used is from Noor Design, and I used Versafine Onyx black ink to stamp it.

This is it for today, I hope you all like it.

The East Wind Challenge - Make it 3D

Hi all!

Today is the start of a new challenge over at The East Wind, and I had so much fun with this one! Our theme for this challenge is Make it 3D, so you can layer up you image, or like I did, alter a 3D object like a box.

I altered a box that used to contain coffee pads. It was sitting on a shelve since forever, and I finally decided to give it a go. The papers I used are from a very old collection from S.E.I., and I used Distress Ink Walnut Stain on all the edges.

The image I used is called Aurora Birthday, and I used the following Copic Markers to color her.
Skin: E000, E00, E21, E11, E13
Cheeks: E93, E95
Hair: E02, E08, E09, E18
Dress: W3, W5, W7, 100
Present: R22, R24, R27, white gel pen
Ribbon and flowers: YR21, YR23, YR27
Eyes: BG75, BG78

I made two flower clusters and I used several different flowers. The big pink one is from a dollar shop, the white ones are from Joy Crafts and the others are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

And to finish everything off I decorated the inside of the box with papers from the same paper pad.

This was it for today, I hope you all like it! Please pop over to The East Wind and join us!

Hugs, Sandra
