Art by Mi Ran - Sunny

Hi all!!

It has been a few weeks since I posted. Due to a huge heat wave in the Netherlands, I haven't been able to sit in my craft room, and I can tell you, I am suffering from withdrawal symptoms... Anyway, today is my turn to host the Art by Mi Ran blog, and I made a bright and colorful card for you all

 Doesn't this one scream summer? I just love the colors! The papers I used are by Basic Grey, Soleil collection, and just perfect for bright colored cards! I inked all the edges with Distress Ink Vintage photo, which gives it a nice finished look.

 The image I used is called Sunny,and I used my Copic Markers to color her up. I used the following markers

Skin: E00, E21, E11, E13

Hair: BV02, BV04, BV08

Hat and Skirt: RV63, RV66, RV69

Shirt: W00, W0, W2, W5

Sunflowers: Y32, Y35, Y38, YR27, E77, E79

Leaves: G43, G46

Background: C00, C0, C1, BG01, BG000, BG0000

I also used a white gel pen in the centers of the flowers.

 I added a lot of extra flowers to my card for decoration, they are all by Wild Orchid Crafts.

Art by Mi Ran - Just because you are special

Hi all!!

It has been quite a while since I posted something on my blog, but I have been crafting a lot I can tell you! I have been working on some mini albums, and in between I also worked on this card, that is showcased on the Art by Mi Ran blog today.

 I used a Dutch Doobadoo template to create the shape of my card. The papers I used are by Cosmo Cricket, Evangeline collection, All edges are inked with Distress Ink Walnut Stain.

I decorated the front of the camera, which is actually a pocket, with a card on the inside

 On the inside I kept my lay-out quite simple, as I wanted the main focus to be on the image, I used a Dutch Doobadoo polaroid template to create a polaroid look

 The image is called Sweet and Sassy, and can be found here. I used some Promarkers to color her skin, and the rest is colored with Copic Markers. I used the following

Hair: E55, E57, E59

Dress: BG70, BG72, BG75, BG78

Belt and scarf: R20, R22, R35

Flowers: R81, R83

 On the front I used several different Willd Orchid Crafts flowers, which I absolutely adore!!!

The sentiment is a sticker from Kimya, and it says Just because you are special.

Mini in a box

Hi everyone!

I am here to share a mini album with you all! I followed a workshop last October, where we made this album, and I totally loved it.
I finished it a while ago, but never blogged about it, and now I am finally brave enough to publish it.

I set myself a goal, to make at least 6 mini albums in 2015, because I have a ton of pictures that need to scrapped, and this album was actually the first one I finished.

The paper collection I used is from Prima Marketing, Stationers Desk. All supplies are from the Dutch store HobbyVision, who sponsored us making the workshop kit.
