You make me feel like dancing

Hi All!

Today I want to share a little gift box with you. I had to make a giftcardholder for our dancing teachers and this is the result.

The image I used is a free one one DeviantArt made by JadeDragonne. The image is called Liz and Darcy and can be found here. I thought it was the perfect image for our dancing teachers.

The image is colored with my Copic Markers, and I used the following.
Skin: E00, E11, E13 and R20 for blush
Blonde hair: E50, E51, E53, E55
Black hair: C3, C5, C7
Suit: C5, C7, 100
Dress: RV91, RV93, RV95
Floor: E33, E35, E37

I used some kraft card stock by Joy for a Noor!Design die-cut. The embossed parts are inked with Distress Ink Tea Dye. The sentiment is also by Noor!Design, and so perfect for our dancing teachers.

I made 2 flower bouquets with Wild Orchid Crafts flowers, and I also used another die by Noor!Design.
The papers I used are by Prima Marketing
The last 2 pictures are from the box itself.

That was it for today, I hope you like it. At least our teachers did!

Our daughter is born!

Hi all!

Way earlier than expected, but our lovely daughter is born!

She was born on December 15th, and her name is Tessa.
She was born 6 weeks too early with a c-section, so we both had to be in hospital for a while. We came home December 30th, and we both are doing really good.
Tessa had to be in an incubator for a few days and they were monitoring her heart and breathing. She wasn't
strong enough to drink on her own, so she had a feeding tube. Tessa decided she didn't like the feeding tube, so she pulled it out a few times. Last time the nurses decided to not put it back and suddenly she started drinking on her own.
This lady has a very strong attitude, just like mommy, haha.
