Hi all!
Finally I am back creating and crafting! I hope to spoil you all with lots and lots of new creations, and today I am sharing my recent make.
When I started scrapbooking in 2007, I only did full size lay-outs. Slowly I started making cards and mini albums, and never did lay outs again... And then there was YouTube! I was browsing, and found a tutorial from Gabrielle Pollacco, making a full size lay out. I fell in love, so I am hoping to make lay-outs more often.
The papers I used for this lay-out are from Craft Sensations, Pretty Red Classics collection. I inked all the edges with Distress Ink Walnut Stain, and used a Tim Holtz Distress Tool to roughen up the edges.
I tore a V-shape into the paper, and added some diagonal striped paper from the collection behind it. Between these layers, I used some red crispy ribbon, and some white lace. Both are from Kimya. The fabric behind the striped paper is from Action, a Dutch store.
I added a twine bow, a paper rose and a birdcage chipboard piece to complete this part of the lay-out.
On the lower right corner is a piece of the same red crispy ribbon, a paper straw, and a small tags. They are all from Kimya. I used some Wild Orchid Crafts flowers and some pearls from my own stash.
The background is sprayed with red shimmer spray from Avec, and I used a Dutch Doobadoo circle stencil with texture paste to create more texture. I used a butterfly stamp and a script stamp from Marianne design to the background, and once all had dried, I could start decorating.
The big paper doily, heart pin, paper straws, tags, and banner are all from Kimya.
The letters are from Tim Holtz, and also available through Kimya.
The flowers are from WIld Orchid Crafts, and the pearls are from my own stash.
This was it today, I hope you like it!
Hugs,
Sandra
